THE OVERBEARING DREAD you had felt all those years as you creeped closer towards the age of eightteen faded away as soon as you actually reached it. The numerous horror stories you had heard to fuel your fear turned out to be completely wrong, atleast, in your case that was.
No existential crisis, no emptiness buried inside your stomach that reminded you of the bridge you had just crossed, and most of all, no sense of responsibility. Most people had told you their instincts kicked in the moment they became of age, but you felt the same as you did all those years before you turned eightteen. Then again, you had always been quite a responsible person, so maybe it was only natural for you to not feel any change happening, as you already went through all possible stages in your life.
