(Kai)
It was strange. The cold had subsided, he wondered if his elemental power helped or if that was just something that happened. He was trying to fight but it just caused an ice spike to stab itself in his brain. It was so much nicer just to let Morro do what he wanted besides he wanted to do what Morro wanted anyway, who wouldn't want to see what was in the creator of Ninjago's tomb.
(Lloyd)
The heat flooded the cockpit as the ship released a rope ladder to catch the ninja. Lloyd sat behind the wheel even though the ship was on autopilot. Lloyd waited until all of his brothers were safely inside the air ship before he shifted where he sat drawing attention to himself.
"Kai!" Jay yelped.
Words overlapped as all of the ninja's started to scold Kai at once.
Lloyd choked out a laugh, "You know. I will make sure to tell Kai how much you love him."
"Lloyd!" They shouted in surprise.
Lloyd pulled off Kai's hood, and stepped out of behind the wheel to join his friends.
"Where's Kai?" Cole asked.
"As far as I know still in Styx, he made sure that I was able to escape." Lloyd said, as the air ship started to take off to the tomb.
"Um," Jay asked nervously. "Who's driving this thing?"
"No one." Lloyd said. "It's on autopilot."
"Where are we going?" Zane asked.
Lloyd grinned, "The Tomb of the First Spinjitzu Master. The real one this time."
(Kai)
'Sixteen door's,' Kai thought as Morro studied the room.
'Sixteen realms.' Morro finished as he walked to the center of the room.
'How do you do spinjitzu?' Morro demanded.
Almost automatically memories of the first time Kai had done spinjitzu flooded his head. Morro was amused by the memory, but he still started the sequence, Kai's body instinctively took over and the familiar red tornado formed around them. The statues above the door's started moving creating an animation.
'That's the door we came in.' Kai thought as they came to a stop.
Morro scanned through Kai's memory anyway. Only to be met with the same result.
'Why are you being so cooperative?' Morro demanded.
Kai shrugged, 'There's no reason for me to fight you. Besides I don't want to accidently kill myself by distracting you.'
Morro's distrust was clear but he opened the door regardless and walked down the hallway. The room built out of pillar's rock, even the floor was made out of these rocks. Morro made sure he didn't step on the rocks. Morro grabbed the sword and held it so he could see its reflection. Kai watched the scene, with the same confusion as Morro. How were you supposed to get to the staff?
'What if you don't touch the ground?' Kai said.
Morro's thought's raced.
'No.' He finally decided.
Morro scanned the room from where they stood. Morro focused his attention to a rock to their left; it was small enough that he could jump on top of it easily. So that's what he did, it slowly sunk into the ground revealing a small passage way. Morro stepped into the passage way with triumphant smirk on his lips, the passage way turned out to be a stair case that led downwards, the stone rose up and covered the door.
There was clearly light at the bottom of the stair case. Morro started to walk down the stairs.
Kai sulked, 'What if the staff had some sort of powers.'
'It was too heavily guarded.' Morro said, 'Besides I have the sword I don't need the staff.'
Kai didn't bother responding, but apparently that was distracting enough for Morro who was expecting another stair only not to find one sending them tumbling forwards where they landed hard on a patch of ice, knocking the breath out of Kai, leaving both Morro and Kai too stunned to even try to stop as they started to slide down the incline quickly gaining speed.
'I guess that this is better than stairs' Kai wheezed.
'Shut up.' Morro hissed.
Kai had caught his breath by the time they reached the end of the slide.
'A maze.' Kai said after Morro looked around.
Morro started to wander through the corridors, soon familiar voices echoed through the maze.
Morro drew the sword, anger pulsing under his skin.
"It's Morro! He's in the Maze too!" Cole yelped.
The wall was weak, easily kicked down; Cole flew backwards and lay stunned under some of the ice. Jay rushes forwards and Morro advances. Jay backed into a wall.
"All you ninja do is talk. Blah, blah, blah. I'll stop you from talking!" He swings the sword at Jay. Jay dodges, and scrabbles away. It was surprising how Jay could manipulate his body to get away from the sword.
"Ahh! He's attacking an unarmed man!"
"We're coming!" Lloyd yelled following Zane.
Kai was seriously wondering how bad things could be. Morro was still in control, even though Kai was fighting hard against him not wanting to hurt his friends no matter how much it hurt him to fight. Kai had to admit Lloyd was much stronger than he had given him credit for. Fighting possession was more painful than being possessed.
Kai had focused only on fighting Morro. Morro it turned out had a stronger will than Kai, so Kai's efforts didn't change anything. In fact it seemed to make it worst because Morro was putting more effort in to beating his friends. Kai had to admit though Morro was an excellent fighter. Kai might have admired his skills had he not been currently beating up his friends. The fact that he could take them all on a once though was pretty awesome. Honestly he shouldn't have been as impressed as he was.
Kai had to admit he had forgotten how good his friends were at sword fighting. Lloyd hadn't joined the fight; he stood off to the side watching this in horror. Until the others were very clearly beaten then he grabbed one of the icicles,
"Come on! Catch me if you can!" Lloyd taunted.
Morro growled and attacked him, sword a blur of motion, cutting the icicles around him. Lloyd jumped away and the icicles grew back around him, Morro tried cutting them down but they grew back thicker than before.
"NO!" Morro howled. "You can't trap me. I'll find you ninja just wait you'll see!"
