50's AU- Student Singer!Eren & Student Greaser!Levi

Eren Jaeger shook with nervousness as he poked his head out from behind the curtain on the small stage built for a sock hop at school.

The room was filled with sweater vests and poodle skirts. The thought of performing in front of so many people made Eren dizzy.

The room was jumping with joy was the fast paced music played loudly and echoed throughout the room filled with teenagers.

"Ahh I'm so nervous." Eren shook behind the stage and turned when his friend Armin put a hand on his shoulder.

"Relax you'll be fine.." Armin's voice trailed off as he noticed a particular male walk into the crowded gym. "Whoa whoaaa looks like not so big, big daddy has decided to come to the hop."

Eren's widened and he looked around. "Oh no no no.. not him! He's probably the only greaser here!"

Armin laughed at Eren's nervousness. "I still think you two should back seat bingo." (I dont think I used that right XD)

Eren rolled his eyes. "Shut up you bundie, I don't see you trying to go steady with anyone, plus I'm scared I'll get clanked."

The two had their gazes transfixed on Levi Ackerman, a senior at the high school. He was never seen at sock hops. Levi was a greaser, one of the top in his school. He had many friends but still managed to keep that 'solo' image.

His shiny black hair was slicked back as usual, his black jacket and white t-shirt stood out in the room filled with students that wore preppy clothing.

"You definitely have to make your sounds better tonight." Armin laughed and pushed Eren onto the stage a bit.

"Stop!" Eren fled back behind the stage. "The song isn't over yet."

"Oh c'mon you need to impress him. He probably came just to see your spazzy ass." Armin teased.

Eren glared at Armin before he got motioned to walk onto the stage. The boy took a deep breath before walking out onto the stage. He stood in front of the tall microphone as the fast paced music stopped. "Alright, I hope everyone is ready to slow things down a bit. Grab your Sophies and move onto the floor."

Most of the people complied and Eren sighed in relief. "I'll be singing a song for you all tonight, I hope you all enjoy it."

The slow music started up seconds later and Eren snapped his fingers with every few beats. He started singing into the microphone.

(I always think people think I'm weird af if I put lyrics and stuff, but Erens singing Love me by Elvis. Idfk xD I like the song. I'm adding the lyrics anyways cx)

"Treat me like a fool, treat me mean and cruel, but love me. Wring my faithful heart, tear it all apart, but love me.." Eren sang with his eyes closed, forgetting the audience around him. Those lyrics stood out to Levi the most as he watched from the back by the exit. He leaned against the wall, his arms crossed. He knew he only came to the school event just to hear and see Eren perform. He just hated admitting it to himself. The boy was three years younger than him- showing he had an interest would be bad- illegal even.

But the way Eren swayed and snapped on the stage made Levi's heart race a thousand beats a minute. He had to speak with him afterwards.

Minutes later the song ended, Eren slowly opened his eyes and faced the crowd. "Thank you." He smiled as the audience applauded.
