The Dead World

Jenson's journey around the city kept going on in silent pace. Wherever he went, everything was the same. Various corpses, destroyed vehicles and buildings.

'First, I need to figure out what happened here' he thought to himself and went to search for any public security cameras. One that is not destroyed that is. Most of the cameras he found were either sliced to several halfes, fried from inside or... chewed? Yeah, there was some wild stuff happening in his absence. Unfair!

'Oh!' Jenson's eyes lit up when he saw a familiar building. 'A police station! That will be useful'

He carefully made his way to the station. Once he reached there he barged in while raising his gun, eady for any sudden attackers. None came.

He relaxed a bit and ventured deeper in there. The police department, just like outside world, was filled with deformed corpses. Looks like they tried to put some futile resistence, as room was filled with holes from presumably gunshots.

"Did the drones do that?" He asked with raised eyebrows. The bodies lying in front of him were not only slashed but as if they were devoured. Why would machines feed on flesh? That didn't make sence to him.

"Alright, I need to find access to cameras'" he moved on, opening door after door. "The city's one preferably"

After some searching he found what he was looking for. He set on a chair and started to dive in. The password was problematic but it's not something that could stop him. He broke in pretty easily and started searching for any information on the events.

At last, he found it. And his theory about robot uprising turned out to be right. Which is not that of a surprise, he is always right after all!

"Mhm..." he hummed while repeatedly tapping his toe. The footages showed how drones massacred people in pretty brutal ways. They shot, burned, cut, tore anything on their path. No one was spared, no matter their age, gender or status.

Jenson narrowed his eyes. He wasn't too much bothered by it. That kind of stuff was not new to him, but what caught his attention was their design.

"They look vastly diffirent" Jenson noted. The drones behind the slaughter looked diffirent than the once he used to know. Other than wings and tail, their limbs were diffirent and they had some circles somewhere above their forehead. While drones' 'eyes' on their screens. They were also taller.

Another thing that really aroused his interest was that some videos showed a giant tentacle getting rid of troublesome units humanity deployed to defend themselves. It appeared pretty rarely, or atleast thats what he think judging by how little information was available about it. But things didn't end here, there were also reports of Black damn holes emerged in someplaces and causing wide spread destruction.

"Wow" his face formed an excited smile and he hastly searched for more information about it. Was that thing capable of attacking with black holes? That's fascinating!

His excitement was quickly destroyed when he finally found a video with one such an attack. Yes, it was a black hole, it wiped out things easily and left perfect sphere shaped craters.

"The hell? Where is time and space distortion? Where is radiation? Where is gravitational pull?!" He shouted with downhearted expresion. He expected a traditional one but instead got... whatever type of black hole this was. It also for some reason had 'null' written on it.

"Alright I need to calm down" he breathed out, "I will make my own black holes to show this flying cans what REAL black hole looks like!" He smiled, excited to show off his prowess.

"But that stuff are for later." Jenson searched further for any more knowledge he might have missed.

"So, bunch of flying drones appeared out out nowhere and started killing people and some eldrich looking abomination helped them," he summoried while looking at other video footages. "And then Earth just exploded? Weird"
