10:49 pm. Footsteps in the dirt, and the crunching of leaves. Walking in the dark, and the cold breeze swiftly brushing through her hair. Kelsey held a backpack over her shoulders, and her sunhat loosely around the top of her head. Her outfit was completely black, a thick coat for the cold, boots, warm pants, and a belt to hold it in place. A knife holster on her belt, and another on her thigh, hidden. Leather gloves covered her hands, and she held a plague doctor mask in her left hand. Her right hand held the strap to her backpack.

She found herself wandering by foot to wherever she was wandering. She had eventually settled at an empty cave she had found, and rested for the night. In the morning, she ate food she had packed, for breakfast. Canned food, and bagged snacks. Bottled water, and a medical kit, along with a map and compass. And of course, she had to have her wallet in case she had to stop for anything she needed.

When she found herself ready to continue moving, she put her mask on, and went back onto the path, making sure to gather all her things before leaving. After a month of this routine, she found herself at one of the locations a Myth has been seen, and, as a myth hunter, she had to find this myth. She had never believed in this stuff, but she had this urge to look, to find and see for herself. And, if they did exist, she had to be sure they were safe. Of course, she had her own protection, and self defense.

With a soft sigh, she walked up to the cabin, and knocked. After a second, upon being met with no answer, she knocked again, and called out.

"Hello? Anybody home?"

But no answer. She figured she'd try and enter. This cabin was in the middle of the woods, with no pathway leading to it's location, which was already concerning as is. Of course though, the door was locked. She went over to a window, and looked inside for any signs of life, but there was nothing, just the empty darkness of a living room. She sighed again, and looked around through the other rooms, but there was nothing. The house was completely lifeless. After a moment of searching, she heard a faint click from the front door. She stayed still for a moment, before wandering over, and trying the handle again. It opened this time, and she was met with the dark eerieness of an empty house. She walked in cautiously, and checked behind the door, to find no one..

'who opened the door?' she thought, before looking around at the rest of the living room, and trying a light switch, although the lights didn't work. It seemed as though the house had no electricity at all. She grabbed a flashlight from her bag, and turned it on, looking around.

"Hello?"

She called out again, to be met with no answer. She kept her guard up, and wandered the house, exploring. As soon as she had found the kitchen, there was a slam from the living room. She looked back, and the door had closed. She knew she wasn't alone.

"I don't mean to intrude..."

She said, hoping for a sense of security, as to not by 'trespassing', even though that's exactly what she was doing and she knew it. She was met with nothing but silence, and the door opened into the house, so she knew it wasn't the wind that closed the door. She wandered back into the living room, and looked around, again, met with empty darkness, only illuminated by the light of her flashlight.

She wandered other rooms of the house, unable to shake the feeling of being watched, yet she pushed on. She had heard things about this job. A myth hunter. She never believed any of it, so she took on the job herself to debunk it, this was no help to her.

After about 10 minutes of wandering, she had found every room of the house, and no signs of life. Then, in the living room, there was a voice behind her.

"Hello?"

She immediately turned around, nearly flinching, as it had been silent almost the entire time, the only sound were the steps of her boots as she wandered. She stared at the figure of a little girl. The girl winced at the light, and covered her eyes. Kelsey lowered the light, and the girl lowered her arms. The girl's appearance was that of a hospital patient, the only piece of clothing on her was a gown, but it had the cover on the back of it. Her hair was shoulder length, and straight, and it appeared that she had blood stains on her body.
