I sat up properly in my chair, listening to the form teacher, Ms. Wright explain to us that next week Thursday was our graduation, for those who didn't want to do upper six.
"Okay. So, raise your hands if you don't intend on doing upper six" she commanded
I raised my hand along with around 23 other students out of the 40 in the class.
As our hands were up, I watched as she counted the hands, repeatedly before she wrote something on the small booklet she had in her hand.
"Okay good, have a good rest of day" she said before leaving the classroom.
I took up my bag, and left the school compound, since today was the day of the week where school ends 30 minutes earlier.

I sat down with my spliff in my mouth, puffing it, as I listened to Bugs, Ray and Joshane. Trey was gone, Milly had business and Zayuri had gone back home, so it was just me and these three in my house.
"Mi already sen eh bwoy head ova deh" said Bugs, looking at Joshane since it's him who asked about the body. "But mi burn the rest a di body"
"To rass" said Ray, making us all laugh
"Anyways, mi ave sumweh fi guh right yah now." Said Bugs, then I saw him stand from his seat, dabbing us up.
