The beginning

As we continued the battle, I could feel that I might lose because that woman who I don't have her name yet was too strong that it was impossible for me to defeat her.

Yet my defiance held firm. I summoned every ounce of power I had left, feeling the elements surge within me—fire blazing in my veins, the solidity of earth grounding me, the fluidity of water and the swiftness of wind all blending together. But she merely watched, unimpressed, as if I were a child wielding a toy weapon.

I lunged forward, channelling my last reserves of strength into a desperate attack. Flames erupted from my fists, and the ground trembled beneath us. For a brief, fleeting moment, I thought I saw a flicker of surprise in her eyes.

But it was gone in an instant. With a mere gesture, she dispersed my powers, snuffing out my fire as if it were nothing more than a candle flame. The air grew cold, and I felt myself weakening, my vision dimming as she drew closer at me.

“Who… are you?” I managed to rasp, though my voice was barely more than a whisper.

She tilted her head as though amused by my question. “I am beyond your understanding,” she replied. “A force older than the stars, beyond names and titles. To you, I am simply… the Unknown God.” Her smile widened, a mocking expression that sent a chill down my spine. “And you… are nothing.”

As she said that, she created powerful magic that could possibly create a destruction inside here, and it charged at me, and I eventually blocked out.

When I opened my eyes, the world around me was shrouded in unfamiliarity. I lay on the ground, feeling the cool touch of grass and the faint rustle of leaves in the wind. A sky, impossibly vast and studded with stars, stretched above me, but none of it felt real. Everything was muted, like I was watching a dream unravel.

I pushed myself up, rubbing my temples as a dull ache throbbed in the back of my head. My mind was blank, empty, as though all the pieces that made me me had been stripped away. No name, no memories—just a vast, hollow void where my past should have been.

"Hey, are you alright?" a voice called out, gentle yet cautious.

I turned, squinting through the dim light, and saw two figures standing a few feet away. They looked identical—two young men and women with brown hair, their expressions a blend of curiosity and concern. Their faces held an odd sense of familiarity, but I couldn’t place why.

"Where... am I?" I managed to ask, my voice raspy and unfamiliar.

Both of them knelt beside me, extending a hand. "You’re safe now. I’m Castilan," She said, offering a reassuring smile. She nodded toward the other. "And that’s my brother, Caspian. We found you lying out here, unconscious."

Caspian’s eyes narrowed slightly, scanning me as though he were trying to read the secrets buried within. “You look lost,” he observed. “Do you remember anything? Your name, where you came from?”

A wave of emptiness washed over me, and I shook my head. "No… nothing." The admission sent a pang of frustration through me. I felt like a puzzle with pieces missing, each fragment of memory just out of reach.

Castilan’s gaze softened, and she offered me a supportive nod. “Well, memories or not, you’re not alone. You can stay with us. Maybe in time, things will come back.”

I wanted to thank her, to let her kindness reassure me, but something stirred in the back of my mind, a lingering spark that refused to fade. It was a feeling, an ember buried deep within—a stubborn refusal, an unbreakable promise. I will not let her win.

Her face was a blur in my mind, but the feeling was clear: someone—a woman shrouded in darkness, with power that overwhelmed everything. The echo of that confrontation flared in me, igniting a fire deep within. A vow, forged in the depths of defeat. I will fight. No matter the cost.

"By the way, can we give you a name for the mean time since you don't remember yours?" She said, "uhm... sure, i guess?" i replied. I looked at her, trying to think about a name that suits me.

"What about Vespera, do you like it?" Caspian said, glaring at me like i was an enemy. "Sure, it sounds really gorgeous!" I replied with a smile on my face.

"Great, that settles then!" Castilan said, having a big smile. To be honest, i find her adorable and innocent, so i don't think she will be a threat to me.

"Vespera, do you want to live with us in the meantime until you've remember your memories?" Castilan’s voice was soft. Her tone was warm and steady.

I glanced between Castilan and Caspian, their faces reflecting sincerity and a kindness that both comforted and unsettled me. They barely knew me, and yet here they were, offering me a home when I had nothing but an empty void where my memories should be.

“Yes, I think I’d like that. Thank you.”I replied.
Castilan’s smile widened, a glint of relief in her eyes. “Good. You’ll have a safe place here with us, no pressure to remember right away.”

"By the way, we're on a planet called the nation of freedom, inshort freedom. Right there on the left is our city called freyburg, the main city in freedom. It is a magnificent place and have lot's of delicious food that you can definitely devour in a second." She said, giggling.

"There are also monsters called vorgathy. The vorgathy are our enemies. They're really powerful, so i hope that you are strong enough to fight them with having no problems." He said with crossed arms, looking so serious and scary but weirdly attractive. "Anyways, let's go before it gets dark."

As we were talking about some information, the monsters' so-called "vorgathy " ambushed us. As caspian was shooting flames at them and castilan as he's supporter, I, on the other hand, defeated 3 vorgathies, leaving no sweat at all, leaving them dumbfounded because they thought I was weak.

"Wow, Vespera, i didn't know you were this good. Please train me master!!!" She said with excitement. Caspian, on the other hand, was speechless thinking that he finally found a woman who's going to be suitable for him.

"Oh, it was nothing really, i didn't even know that i have a wind power cause i thought my power is ice!" I said, leaving an awkward smile.

"Let's continue cause it will be a trouble if it's nightime."
We walked and walked till we're at our destination.
