(AUTHOR'S POV)Taehyung's eyes slowly opened, greeting the soft morning light that filtered through the window. He reached out, his hand instinctively searching for Jennie's warmth beside him. But, as had become customary, her side of the bed was empty.
He sat up, rubbing the remnants of sleep from his eyes. The aromatic scent of freshly brewed coffee wafted from the nightstand, beckoning him to start his day. Taehyung smiled, knowing Jennie's thoughtful gesture had once again preceded her disappearance.
As he sipped the rich, bold coffee, its warmth spread through his chest, reviving his senses. He closed his eyes, savoring the flavor and the familiar routine. This was their unspoken language - Jennie's quiet departures and thoughtful returns, Taehyung's patient waiting and loving understanding.
With his coffee in hand, Taehyung swung his legs over the side of the bed, planting his feet firmly on the ground. He took a deep breath, preparing himself for another day of creating art, sailing the seas, and cherishing every moment with Jennie - whenever she chose to reappear.
As Taehyung stepped out of the bedroom, his thoughts naturally drifted to the kitchen, where Jennie often spent her mornings whipping up culinary masterpieces. But his feet hesitated, drawn to a different melody.
The soft, lilting notes of a piano drifted from the music room, weaving a spell that beckoned him closer. Taehyung's heart swelled, recognizing the sweet, soulful voice that accompanied the music - Jennie's.
But, to his surprise, a deeper, richer voice harmonized with Jennie's, creating an unforgettable duet. Taehyung's eyes narrowed as he approached the music room, his gaze falling upon Kang, sitting beside Jennie on the piano bench.
Kang's voice blended seamlessly with Jennie's, their harmonies dancing in perfect sync. Taehyung's initial delight gave way to a flicker of unease. Why was Kang singing with Jennie? And why did it feel so... intimate?
Taehyung's instincts urged him to interrupt, but he restrained himself, not wanting to disrupt the beautiful music. Instead, he leaned against the doorframe, watching with a mix of fascination and discomfort.
Jennie's eyes sparkled as she sang, her smile radiant. Kang's gaze met hers, their voices entwining like the branches of two trees. The song's emotions swirled around Taehyung, making him feel like an outsider. And most importantly they were singing 'sad-song' ( by we the kings ft. Elena coats)
That romantic lyrics was making Taehyung not so happy about it. If it was just Jennie he would love it but Kang singing on top the looks they were giving each other is something else to be described.
As the final notes faded, Jennie and Kang shared a warm smile. Taehyung's presence was acknowledged with a nod, but Jennie's eyes didn't quite meet his.
"Morning," Taehyung said, his tone laced with a hint of sarcasm, as he strode towards the piano, his bare feet making barely a sound on the polished floor.
Jennie's eyes darted to Kang, her expression uneasy, while Kang's gaze locked onto hers, seeking guidance. But neither spoke, transfixed by Taehyung's imposing figure.
Taehyung's shirtless torso, adorned with intricate tattoos, seemed to radiate an aura of quiet intensity. His sharp jawline and piercing eyes only added to the formidable image. The morning light streaming through the windows accentuated the rugged contours of his physique, making him appear both beautiful and intimidating.
Jennie's cheeks flushed as she hastily rose from the piano bench, her eyes locked onto Taehyung's. "Good morning," she said, her voice soft, attempting to diffuse the tension and nervousness. A nervous smile was on her face like she was caught doing something illegal. Something she shouldn't be doing.
