"Hiro! Taka! Arata! Yer brother is here! Go carry his stuff!" Nanase's mother yelled once they finally reached Nanase's hometown and his house after an additional two, longer grueling hours of travel via bus.

Rin had realized how deeply remote Nanase's village was.

It's a real rural area away from the bustling city and high urban living. It was a quaint village with the traditional concept of the country's houses often referred to as minka. The place was surrounded by huge, leafy trees and wide farms with a striking view of the mountains from afar. He immediately noticed how open and friendly the people were. Considering that it's a small neighborhood, it's easy to make acquaintances and camaraderie with almost everyone.

It's no wonder that Nanase had a sunny and enthusiastic disposition in life because of the people and surroundings he grew up with.

"Niji-kun is here?" A male voice enquired from the windows and when they spotted Nanase and Rin outside, his eyes grew wide and called for the rest of his family.

Rin's eyes darted in the direction of the male's voice. It must be one of his big brothers. He possessed the familiar pair of azure irises similar to Nanase and that trademark bright smile on his face. But other than that, he's quite different from him. He's taller and a bit more muscular than Nanase with shoulder length, dark blue hair.

"Hikaru! Oto-san! Niji-kun is here!" He exclaimed happily and Rin heard some rustling noises from the inside before they marched outside excitedly.

After a few moments, three tall boys emerged from his line of direction and bounded to Nanase's direction excitedly. They were all taller than him. Nanase wasn't even that tall of a person, but his older brothers were something else entirely. They were all broad shouldered and muscular type of men which reminded him of Kunigami and Barou's stature and body type. They all surrounded Nanase enthusiastically like overgrown puppies. They hugged and patted his head fondly.

"Yer looking more buff than the last time I remembered ya!"

"How's the city life been treating ya Nijiro?"

"Must be hard warding off the fans when they see you in Blue Lock huh?"

Nanase could only smile and laugh with them as he couldn't get a word out due to the rapid-fire questions and greetings that his brothers were making to him.

A small cough could be heard from the background which made them pause and face the direction of their mother. Rin just stood beside her with an impassive expression on his face, trying not to feel awkward with the whole situation.

Family reunions weren't his forte after all.

"Before ya carry your brother's bags, I'd like ya to meet—."

"Wait a sec. Are ya Rin? As in Rin Itoshi? The star player in PxG?" One of the males cut off his mother excitedly as he looked at Rin in instant recognition.

"Yes I am." Rin replied simply.

"That's cool! Man, I didn't know that you and our brother here were close."

"Taka you might want to let Rin-san rest for a while before yapping about being a fan." His mother admonished lightly to which it earned a sheepish chuckle from the other.

"Yeah. I'm sorry about that. Ya must be tired and hungry from all that travel. Come inside and we'll prepare something for ya and Niji-kun." Taka then proceeded to carry their bags while the others helped him out.

Rin could only nod in response.

Upon reaching the inside of their house and being invited to sit in the available kotatsu in the living room, a new and young voice which seemed to belong to a boy chimed in.
