I stayed at Monty's apartment for the last two days, and I haven't been to the daycare since Sun and I broke up. I didn't have the energy to cry anymore, but every time I think about it, I still get sick to my stomach, knowing how badly this was gonna end up for me. I've basically only shown up to the pizzaplex at night since I'm still head of night patrol and have to go around the pizzplex every night. I don't go in the daycare, though. We're still looking for Star, and I'm worried that we might not even find her.

Freddy, out of the blue, started talking to me more, and to be frank, it was nice to talk to him. I never talk to Freddy. Not because he's mean or anything. We just never really hung out. Which is fine. I'm not the most social, so I'm glad he helps me with talking to more people. He keeps going to the daycare for some reason, even after the pizzaplex closes. I didn't want to investigate, though. It wasn't really any of my business.

I sat in my bed, waiting for the pizzaplex to close and Monty to come home so I could start my shift. I thought about Sun for most likely the 10 millionth time today and thought about how we always said we would be together for the rest of our lives.

I reach into my pocket, pulling out a little black box. I lied about going to the bar with Monty and Roxy. I want to go to a jewelry store to pick up an engagement ring for Sun. I was gonna ask him to marry me, so I made an alibi earlier that day so that Monty would ask me to go to the bar, and I'd act drunk when Sun called me. I never would have thought this would have happened. I stare at the little box, knowing what it contained. I felt like crying again.

"Moon? You good?"

Monty asked as she came through the door. I saw a bracelet on her wrist that said she/her on it, so I just isumed that's what she wanted to be called that day. She closed the door and sat down next to me. She looked down and saw the little box holding the ring.

"Oh.... I'm so sorry dude. I know how hard this might be for you right now, but trust me, things will get better."

"Don't be so sure. I haven't even talked to him since the break up..."

She looked at me with sympathetic eyes as she put her snoot on my shoulder. It made me smile and laugh a little, knowing she's just being goofy.

"Pfft! You're stupid.."

I chuckled. I stood up and grabbed to stuff for my shift. We said our goodbyes and I drove to the pizzaplex. Once I got there, I met Vanny at the entrance and she clocked out.

"Byeee Moon!!!"

She said as she walked out. I gave a simple wave and smile. I grabbed my flashlight and started my rounds. I started to think about Sun again. Does he even miss me? I thought about what would have happened if Star hadn't done what she did, maybe I'd be engaged to the love of my life, kissing him and holding him in our bed. Why did I do this? No matter what I do... I can't ever seem to do anything right. It's always a lose - lose for me. I miss you so much my darling. I still love you, Su-

"Moondrop?"

I heard an oh too fimilar voice from behind. I spun around to see the most amazing and beautiful animatronic I'd ever known. Sun looked at me in utter confusion. I couldn't speak.
