Wherever is Whoever

"Hold it just like that." Raina said, pulling the gold nugget over the string and back as Casey held it over the boiling pot of chicken soup. "Who told you golden nuggets tasted good with this? It's like eating rocks with meat. Like a chicken just passed a kidney stone." Casey asked, her hands shaking because of the heat, making her fingers wet and slippy. "I did. You never know until you've tried it." Raina sang, a melody escaping her mouth. "Whoever never said that to me." Casey carried off her words, glancing around the cabin. She had always found interest in smooth wood.

"Who's Whoever?" Raina asked. "Whoever? Who's Whoever, you don't know whoever he is?" Casey replied. "No, Whoever. Not whoever." Raina said, setting the nugget down and placing the soup into bowls. "Nevermind." Casey mumbled. She sat down at the table, the old chair creaking like a needed oil change. The cabin sure did need some TLC, but it was only a filter. After all, they were in a holographic arena. Casey glanced down into the bowl, it reeked of gasoline and olives. "I don't want to eat this, suddenly my appetite has lost its tite." she said, rising from the dining area. Raina walked to the door and pressed the blue button on the knob.

The area returned to a blank room with empty grids and a few controls off by the exit. "Next time, I won't waste the daily supply power we have for that one. I promise." Carey smiled, exiting the hologram zone with her sister. The Hologram Zone, more or less the 'Holo-Z' is a scene changing room where the possibilities are endless. "School is starting tomorrow, you know. Might want to get some beauty sleep if you're going to keep those bags from showing." Raina chuckled, throwing a body pillow across the room and hitting Casey in the face. Casey giggled and dimmed the lights, crawling into her bed as Raina left. Turning on her ceiling, she set the picture to stars, since she'd never had a skylight in her life, or seen 15,000 million stars at once.

While this did take a while the Holo-Z will be further explained throughout the story as will her secret chamber, including her whole life in general, but I'd rather just tell now.

Casey, Raina, their whole family and friends, basically the whole world lives in 2090 which in this case, is the age of super technology. So it's basically all futuristic, but the Holo-Z isn't her secret area at all
