These measures are designed to ensure the safety and well-being of all students and staff. Surveillance will be maintained by a select team of our trusted security personnel.
Please be advised that your privacy remains our priority-cameras are there solely for safety and protection purposes.

Thank you for your cooperation!
The flyer's bold letters and stern tone didn't do much to soothe the general outrage. As I sat on the grass outside with my friends, we all tried to enjoy the rare sunny day, but it was impossible to ignore the looming topic of conversation: the installation of the new security cameras. Maeve wrinkled her nose, taking a bite of her sandwich. "I'm telling you," she said, "I wouldn't be surprised if some creepy guard is already planning to watch the girls' bathrooms. This whole setup feels wrong."
Dan shook his head. "Can they even legally do this? Cameras in bathrooms? Isn't that a privacy violation or something?"
We all nodded, equally shocked and unsettled by how intrusive it sounded. Sure, campus safety mattered, but we were all too aware that cameras everywhere-especially in private places-crossed a line.
"I mean, what are we supposed to do?" I asked, looking around at the others. "We can't just sit back and let them install these without some kind of protest, right?"
Maeve leaned in, her voice low but intense. "Exactly. But it's not like we can go barging into the headmaster's office. And there's not much time to organize anything since they start tomorrow."
I could tell everyone was uncomfortable. The thought of constantly being under a watchful eye, especially in places like the bathrooms or dorms, was beyond disturbing.
As we sat in the sun, the conversation lingered on just how invasive the new cameras would be. Dan's voice had a hint of dread. "They're literally planning on watching us everywhere," he muttered, shaking his head. "It's messed up."
"Right?" Maeve chimed in. "Who's watching the monitors anyway? Some guy who'll probably get way too curious about girls' bathrooms."
"Can they even do this legally?" Thomas asked. "And why didn't they get any feedback from students?"
We all nodded in agreement, equally disturbed and wondering if there was anything we could do. But as the bell rang, pulling us out of our heated discussion, we started to make our way back inside. Alex slowed his step beside me, casually tossing in, "Don't worry, Evelyn, I'll protect you from the scary cameras." He grinned, leaning a little closer.
I stopped in my tracks, pointing at him. "Did you guys just hear that?" I demanded, looking at the others. "Right here, right now-he's been doing this non-stop for weeks!" My friends burst into laughter, and I sighed, looking around desperately for help.
"Please, Max," I said, grabbing Max's arm, "you've gotta help me. This is getting too bold, it's actually scaring me."
Max gave me an amused look but then chuckled as Alex's voice cut in smoothly, "And why are you holding onto him?" He didn't sound entirely pleased, and Max laughed out loud.
