On a chilly October evening, Osamu Dazai and Chuuya Nakahara found themselves standing before an imposing Victorian mansion on the outskirts of Yokohama. The dilapidated structure loomed ominously against the darkening sky, almost like it was staring down at the two ability users.

"Remind me again why we're here, mackerel?" Chuuya grumbled, adjusting his hat as a gust of wind threatened to carry it away. Chuuya was wearing a fitted black jacket with a high collar, which had a slightly asymmetrical cut. Underneath, he has a white shirt that adds contrast to the darker elements of his outfit, to pair with the jacket Chuuya was wearing and slim-fitting black pants that taper at the ankles, maintaining a sleek silhouette. He sports his normal black fedora hat.

Dazai's lips curled into his trademark smirk

Dazai's lips curled into his trademark smirk. "Why, Chuuya, don't tell me you're scared? We're here to investigate reports of supernatural activity. Some Port Mafia members have disappeared around here so we need to find them!" Dazai teased his partner. Dazai was wearing his long, dark trench coat that flowed elegantly, giving him a mysterious and sophisticated appearance. Underneath, he has on a crisp white shirt, which contrasts sharply with the darker outerwear. He has a black tie. Dazai pairs the trench coat with fitted black pants that complement the overall sleekness of his outfit.

"Tch. As if I'd be scared of some run-down house," Chuuya retorted, walking forward with determination.

As they entered the mansion, the floorboards creaked beneath their feet, and the musty air filled their nostrils. Cobwebs adorned almost everywhere, and the faint sound of scratching echoed through the halls.

"Let's split up," Dazai suggested, his eyes gleaming with mischief. "We'll cover more ground that way."

Chuuya nodded reluctantly, heading towards the east wing while Dazai took the west.

As he explored the dusty rooms, Chuuya couldn't shake the feeling of being watched. Shadows seemed to dance in his peripheral vision, and whispers tickled his ears. He opened a big rustic door into a huge grand ballroom.

"Woah this place is huge..." Chuuya said, as he walked into the room.

Meanwhile, Dazai hummed cheerfully as he wandered through the mansion, seemingly unfazed by the eerie atmosphere. He paused in what appeared to be a study, his keen eyes spotting something unusual on the bookshelf.
