"Wearing red in the Williams garage is a bold choice" The interviewer motioned at the red two piece. "You know it's a special day today and red is a lucky color" I said not expecting to get ambushed the second I entered the garage.
Getting scammed into PR god damn I knew it was too good to be true. "So we know that your family is watching from the Ferrari garage, what encouraged you to come here?" "Well you know I guess this is no longer a secret but i will be stealing Alex Albon's seat for the rest of the season and this girl girlfriend. I said in the most blunt sarcastic tone not taking the interview seriously. "Oh so both seats of Williams will be filled by rookies?" It took a second to comprehend. "Logan is a rookie?"
"Oh Logan Sargent got replaced this race" My mouth hung open "oh no he was my favorite" "have you met the new driver?" "I'd assume no" as the teen vogue interviewer motioned some staff.
I zoned out as they rambled about their predictions of the race. As they motioned for my input, Not knowing what to say, "my money's on Charles I know he really wants it." not giving actual thought into my answer.
"The camera panned to the left as both drivers entered the room" Holy shit. this cannot be happening as the adrenaline flowed into my vein. "Am i getting punked ?" I whisper hoping the mic didn't pick it up.
They now infront of me boy is it awkward. Debating on choosing fight or flight, My feet were planted in their place. "Hey pretty" I chose delusion as I completely mentally detached myself for the situation.

I just couldn't take my eyes off her as she let out an awkward giggle, breaking eye contact. I immediately missed them trying to meet her eyes once again. As Alex reached in for a hug as they continued their interview.
I couldn't even comprehend their conversation. I just stood there like an idiot. I was pulled into for a picture before I knew it, She was saying goodbye waving exiting the room. The Williams sticker I had gotten from my Kit was stuck on her back taking the space of where I held her.
"Mate she's gone" Alex said as he didn't break his laugher taking a lap around the room before putting his hand around my shoulder guiding me away from the interviewer.
"Great first interview by the way"
