The street was quiet as I flew back to my home, the haunted house on the far end of PumkinWay Drive. My eyes were red from the tiring night in the Hunty's Bookstore. I heard a voice shout at me as a blue shadow raced to me and squished me tight, making my purple head stick out. " Ow!" I cried, loudly. "Luna!" said the most childish ghost in history, " I missed you!" It was Liny Yack. She was like the younger sister that I never had, even as a human. "Hi!" I said as I pushed my way out of her tight hug. We walk into our home together, chit-chatting along the way.

The head of our house came out, Matilda Warith. Don't make this mistake, even if I'm Luna Warith, I am NOT her family. She is noble yet frightening, that was what made us quiet. " Well hello there, Matilda Warith," I said in my most civilized voice. The silver body shifted closer, " Hello, I've been looking my ghost out for you young one." I was scared. " Umm, sorry I was out in the bookstore." I pointed toward the way the bookstore was. She nodded thoughtfully. " Oh yeah, then I got Liny some cookies, right Liny?" I look for her " Liny?" I knew then that the little rat had run upstairs, Ugh.

"Never mind her, why were you looking for me, Mam'm?" I asked. "So, there has been a bit of a problem here. The souls and ghosts have been very forgetful of everything lately. They don't seem to realize that even our world needs peace and kindness." Matilda said sounding sencir. " So, I want you to make an arrangement for everyone to remember the kindness and good memories, something like that." I got her point and promised to make it work, even if I had no idea what to do.

The next day I was heading toward the Grove Garden. As usual, I saw the two most calm and kindhearted souls and a ghost. It was Hazel Appartition, the most earthy soul around here, and Aura Phantom, kind like an angel. Aura had an evil sister named Evelyn Phantom, who was probably in the attic burning things and hurting humans from her tower. So selfish. You see when a soul hurts a human they live a bit longer, I've never done such a thing but others do.

"Hi!" Aura smiled like a flower. Hazel just stared calmly at me, waving a leaf-green hand. I waved back. They were planting flowers and little pine trees. Aura was holding a little daisy in her pink hand. " Do you have any idea how to make a ceremony to remember the kindness and the memories lost?" I asked. Aura thought for a second then answered, " You should make a garden!" "That's a nice idea," I said, thinking of how to make this work. My mind was buzzing with designs.

After a week of planning and thinking called every soul and ghost from the house to come here, to the garden. I was having a ceremony here. I held my hand high and said, "So, we have been forgetful lately, right? I have been playing something for a while to share." I caught Matilda and Evelyn murmuring. I gulped, " Umm, so I want everyone to plant a small gift from nature in this garden, right here. All of us will write a note beside it to remember all the kindness and warmth around us. Along with the things we cherish and the beautiful memories." Everyone was staring at me. "This garden will not be known as the "Grove Garden" anymore. As it is now known as..." I raised a small pine from behind me and announced, " The Memory's Garden" It was silent for a few minutes, I was sweating. The souls started chipping and the ghost yapped. In my mind, I thought that I'd messed this all up until Mathilda gave me a round of applause. Everyone followed.

Cheers flowed in the air, crows flew up and down. I was overjoyed.

Slowly everyone stepped into a line holding a plant in their multi-colored hands and smiling. Liny Yack was chirping like a little bird, Aura Phantom was smelling her rose plant, Hazel Apparition was gently touching her little lavender, Matilda Warith was at the front of the line planting a little pine, even Evelyn Phantom was half-smiling and in her light blue hands help a little iris.

I grabbed a piece of paper and scribbled down the words:

Sometimes it's important to remember and cherish,

To think and to look around at all the beautiful things.

When you don't know what to do follow kindness,

That can never go wrong.

Kind memories will stay forever,

Even after all the bad things that had happened.

Be kind, and remember.
