Elsa Graves, a 17 high school year old student, living under her father's very far fetched restricted rules. One day, she decided to take a leap of faith after school ended, and walked in the forest.

The forest was....strange. She'd never stepped outside of her father's liar. The only places she was allowed to go was school, then home. This was the first time she actually disowned the rules she was allowed to go.

It was strange, yet so strange, she felt like someone, or something was watching her. Perhaps her father? Someone else?

The ashes, the darkness - that runs throughout her veins, simply went away for a few moments, until someone startled her.

Jack Frost landed beside her. A soft gasped escape from her mouth, the darkness was soon enough to come back. She put her hands up gently, shaking uncontrollably.

"W-who are you?" Elsa asked, the darkness ran down from her heart, to fingers within a few minutes. Jack's eyes widened open.

"Woah, there. I didn't mean to scare you, I'm Jack. Jack Frost, in math. Remember?"

And in that moment, a swift of wind gusts up in the air, and Pitch was there. "Well, well. Look who we have here?" He says, looking at Elsa, then Jack. "Escaping my lair, now we are, my sweet? You know the rules." He says, while pointing his finger at her.

Elsa's eyes widened open. "Yeah, yeah. School, then home. I know, dad. I was just taking the long way home," she lied. She'd known better than to lie.

Pitch clicked his tongue, "tsk, tsk. Such a liar. Always will be. Just like..." Elsa caught him off. "Like who? My mother? Don't even dare say her name!
She snapped, getting close towards him.

"Elsa, I don't think-"
Elsa turned to look at Jack, her eyes were fearing.
"Do what?"
Jack pointed out her magic that was starting to seeping out  from under her. She slowly looked down and chuckled nervously, as she looked across her arms.

"Sorry, Jack...."
Quickly, she hides her powers before anyone else saw.
"It's alright, I'm glad no one else saw..." He replied. Jack sighed, his eyes twinkling like snow. "Is that why you hide your magic? Because you're afraid  of what people might say?"

Pitch chuckled darkly at his question towards Elsa, and looked at her. "Yeah. Are you?" He said mockingly.
Elsa rolled her eyes at her father, then looked at Jack, and nodded softly.
"Yes, I am afraid of what they might think of me. I'm the daughter of the Nightmare King, for crying out loud!"

Elsa sighed, before speaking again.
"For gods sake, my hair's black, my clothes are black--just... everything!" Her eyes started to turn black as she clenched her fists when she turned to face towards her father.

"And I hate it!" Elsa finally admitted.
