Dana: Pregnant?
Fatima: Yes, how many times you go say it?
Dana: Until it makes sense, ain't no way yall been together this long, and you get pregnant at the end. That's insane!
Fatima: My whole life is insane. I have my first doctors appointment this upcoming Friday if you want to come.
Dana: I got you. What is Ry doing?
Fatima: Playing with her dolls about to get her hair combed. Her donor text saying he was coming to see her. After he leaves, we will be on our way. She has been asking to see Benny for two days straight.
Dana: Ok, his dad is dropping him off soon. He should be back before yall get here.
Fatima: Ry-pie, what style would you like today?
Ryder: Three pigs tails, one in the front and two in the back. Can my front one be in a bun?
Fatima: Ooh fancy, I can do that. Can you guess who we're going to see today?
Ryder: My daddy?
Fatima: No, baby. We are going to see Bently and Titi Dana!
Ryder: Yay, I miss my Bently.
Fatima: Your Bently misses you too.
Ryder: And I miss my daddy. He forgot to play with me though so I don't miss him. Right mommy?
Fatima: You can be upset and still miss him. You will see him soon, ok.
Ryder: When?
Fatima: Soon Ry, I promise.
Baby Mom 🤦🏽♀️: What time will you be here? Ryder is asking for you and we have plans.
Donor 🍅🍅🍅: I'm on my way.
Fatima finished Ryders hair, she made her eat a yogurt and fruit until she was hungry for lunch. She climbed in Tima arms and laid her head on her shoulders while Tima rubbed her back. She was seconds from falling asleep when Zachary walked in the house. She jumped up and leaped into his arms.
Fatima made a mental note on how she would never have leaped for Ryan like that and if she did he would scold her for climbing around like some sort of animal.
Ryder literally just met this man, barely knows him and loves him as if he has been here her whole life. Fatima feels mom guilt, she also feels if she doesn't remove herself from the room and argument will inevitably start.
Fatima: Ry Ry, come get me after your father leaves.
Ryder: Ok mommy.
Zachary: Wait Fatima, I was hoping we could talk?
Fatima: No. Talk to your child.
Fatima disappeared into the kitchen to wash the few and pack the few dishes she accumulated over the last week.
Ryder: Daddy did you forget to come play with me and Bently?
Zachary: No, I didn't forget. I had an emergency. I'm sorry, and ill make it up to you ok?
Ryder: Ok. You had to work?
Zachary: No, it wasn't work. Just an emergency.
Ryder: Ok, next time don't have a mergcy because it made me sad but mommy said I can still miss you when you made me sad.
Zachary: I missed you too, and I won't have any more emergencies. Do you want to go eat lunch with daddy before you and mommy leave?
Ryder: Yes, ill go ask mommy.
