chapter 7 - generational melee

Dante has arrived on the scene and he is not happy with what he sees.

Citizens running, the town destroyed, but what irritated him the most was the armless lord laying on the ground covered in his own blood.

“D-Dante what are you doing here” Argento weakly murmurs as he struggles to breathe as his blood is leaking everywhere.

Dante turns to Argento “don't move you've lost enough blood already” he says as he tries to get Argento to hold still.

“Dante, listen to me you can't fight them,” Argento states as he looks at Mano and Kōzō “they're too strong and one of them is a lord; you can't beat them alone.

Dante smirks and puts his hand on Argento's shoulder and replies “I'm sorry my lord but this is more important to me as they have destroyed my home and so I must defeat them.”

Argento tries to move and stand up despite his lack of strength; it was then that two pairs of hands hold him down.

He looks on both sides of him and sees Allegra and Aghi trying to keep him from moving “lord Argento i'd advise you to not move you will lose more blood” says Aghi.

“Who the hell are you two” Argento says as he coughs up more blood.

“Settimo tenente capitano Allegra and Nono tenente capitano Aghi at your service. Says Allegra as she introduces both her and Aghi.

Argento stops fighting and stops struggling after hearing that they are wandians.

“Hey man are you alright” says a third voice that Argento recognizes but can't put a face on.

He looks to his right where Aghi is standing and bent down next to her is Sebastian the boy from the market that Argento bumped into and knocked all his fruit over.

“Hey man yeah I'm good just need to stop the bleeding” Argento says weakly as he coughs up more blood.

Meanwhile Dante confronts Kōzō and Mano who are still recovering from their failed attack as it took a lot of power to form it.

“Hey you two allow me to continue where lord Argento left off” Dante says as he walks slowly towards them, the orange aura surrounding his body.

Kōzō and Mano looked at each other confused then looked back at Dante and Kōzō asked “and you are?”

Dante does his casual smirk and says “I'm Primo tenente Dante and you two have done something unforgivable and that is ruin the piece of this island and for that I must kill you.”

Kōzō's eyes flash sea green as he walks closer to Dante screaming “ who do you think you are, do you know who I am? I'm Lord Kōzō the reincarnation of the son of lady Pisces SO YOU WILL RESPECT ME-.”

But Kōzō doesn't finish his sentence because in the time it took him to blink Dante used the fact his eyes were close for a millisecond to hit him with a spin kick to the chin which knocked him out cold and sent him flying into the side of a building.

The kick to Kōzō angers Mano so much it makes Mano’s inner spirit come out in anger as Ome files out of Mano's gauntlets.

“Are you okay Kowasu?” Ome screams as Kowasu comes stumbling out of Kōzō's sickles holding his chin in the same place Kōzō had gotten kicked.

This reveals that whatever happens to a reincarnation happens to the spirit of the original.

Kowasu doesn't answer, he just looks at Dante “you can come out now Veloce that kick was too recognizable for it not to be you.”
