This was certainly going to make things awkward between us. We both smiled as we started walking up the hill. I could feel my cheeks burning. He grabbed my hand which took me by surprise. The other guys were jumping and I laughed at their screaming. We reached the top and Madison was sitting with Jack. She seemed down and I felt bad for Jack. She was ruining his fun.
"What's wrong?" Justin asked.
"She said her head hurts." Jack answered for her.
"Jack go jump with J, I'll stay with her." I reassured. He made sure it was okay with her and she just nodded and gave him a kiss. She glared at me when they left.
"You want some water?" I asked.
"My head doesn't actually hurt dumbass." Her voice dripped with hate.
"Did I do something to you?" I questioned.
"Yeah, you're here. Should've been you in the car instead of your mom." This hurt but also confused me.
"How did you know that?" She looked alarmed.
"Justin told me." She relaxed. She was acting strange but I was too concerned about what she had said to me. How could someone who looked so innocent be so ruthless. I felt tears forming but I heard Kendall and the guys returning. I walked toward the car to calm myself down. I opened the door to the front. Justin came over to me, my back was to him.
"What are you doing?" I froze but saw my bag.
"Just getting my towel." I said and cleared my throat . I got the towel and wiped my face and wrapped it around me. I shut the door and followed Justin back to the group. We sat down and Matt and Nash brought out a cooler, that had waters and fruits. Everyone got something and I decided on a small cup containing some grapes and pineapple slices and a water bottle.
"Throw me a grape, I bet I'll catch it." Nash said to me.
"Remember what happened last time you bet something?" I laughed and threw one anyway.
"Aye." He yelled happily as he caught it. I stand corrected.
"Throw me one." Matt said. I did as told and he caught it.
"Okay, me too." Jack said and he barely caught it.
"Don't forget me." Justin spoke.
"Are you sure you can handle the pressure?" I questioned as all the other guys before him had caught them.
"Try me babe." I threw it and he caught it and winked at me. The guys cheered.
"Okay." I nodded approvingly.
"Come on Kendall I know you can prove these guys who's boss."
"I got this," she stood up and I threw it and she caught it. We cheered and hugged.
"Take that." I laughed. The sun began to set.
"Let's sit at the cliff and watch the sun set." Madison finally spoke up. I grabbed my towel and what was left of my fruit and everyone walked over. We spread out our towels and sat. It was a bit scary looking down at the cliff. I didn't want to fall as I was beginning to dry up. I leaned on Justin's shoulder.
"This has been, easily, one of the best days of my life." I smiled and everyone agreed.

I had exchanged numbers with all of them and we changed in the bathrooms they had on site. I was glad I brought comfy clothes but a little sad when we all partied ways. The ride home was relaxing. A song was playing softly in the background and it sounded like Justin.
I gave you the key when the door wasn't open, just admit it
See, I gave you faith, turned your doubt into hoping, can't deny it
Now I'm all alone and my joys turned to moping
Tell me, where are you now that I need you?
"Is this you?" I asked admired.
"Yeah, you like it?" He looked over at me.
"Yeah, a lot. I like music that has a meaning or shows emotion." He grabbed my hand as I spoke.
"You're perfect." He smiled and kept his eyes on the road. I blushed and leaned against the window. Justin began singing lightly.
I gave you attention when nobody else was paying
I gave you the shirt off my back, what you saying?
To keep you warm
I showed you the game everybody else was playing, that's for sure
And I was on my knees when nobody else was praying, oh Lord

Where are you now that I need you?
Where are you now that I need you?

His voice was amazing.

I need you (the) I need you
I need you (the) I need you
I need you, you, you, you, you, you
Where are you now that I need you?
I need you (the) I need you
I need you (the) I need you
I need you, you, you, you, you, you
We reached the gate and I grew tired. It wasn't even that late but my eyes were droopy. He parked and walked over to my side. He picked me up and closed the door with his foot.
"You don't have to carry me." I said sleepily.
"Okay." I heard him say with a laugh before I fell asleep.
