Chapter Two:

Upset, she sank to the floor and curled up against a tree trying to figure out what to do from there, and upon deciding that sitting there under the beautifully blossoming tree was doing her no good she quickly stood, spots appearing in her vision because of the quick ascent.

"Well, if I am going to be stuck here I might as well look around and see what my new living accommodations will be, oh hee hee that rhymes! Oh great the isolation is wearing off on me already, they do say that talking to yourself is the first sign of insanity!" Rouge said chuckling to herself.

Rouge walked around and looked closely at her surroundings, looking for a good place to sleep for the night. She came upon the most beautiful tree she had ever seen, the trunk was massive and beautifully complex roots were woven together beneath it in such a way that it held the tree up off the ground, and in the center of the roots was a beautiful door.

Rouge slowly walked toward the door and, still trying to decide if what she saw was real or not, opened it. The hinges though were not metal, they were wood for every part of this tree was alive. She could sense it, and the presence also felt warm and comforting like she had finally come home like she could finally relax for a little while before she continued with her journey.

Rouge walked through the house and discovered it was actually quite large, almost as if it was smaller on the outside than it was on the inside. As she continued to explore she found a kitchen, it was completely stocked with all of her favorite foods from her home planet and from some of the ones she had visited, as cool as it was she still found it creepy that someone or something she had never met knew so much about her.

She found her hearts start to beat faster as she slowly started to creep back to the door until she saw a note on the counter. Something deep inside her told her to read it, so she walked toward in and after hesitating a moment picked it up.

It read:

Do not fear me my little Wanderer,

I am a TARDIS and I mean you no harm.

At the dawn of the second sun I shall fully awaken and your journey across the stars will finally truly begin,

Until then young one sleep you have had a long journey and you will need your strength,

Your Questions will be answered in the second morning.

Until then child.

After reading the note she felt more at peace, something about this place made her feel at home, but she couldn't quite figure out what it was. She suddenly realized how tired she was and stumbled through the TARDIS/tree looking for a place to sleep. A door swung open in front of her and inside was a large bed, as quickly as possible she took off her shoes and jumped on the bed. It was soft as a cloud and as soon as her head hit the pillow she fell into a deep sleep.
