 Elena Carter, an ambitious and inquisitive 21-year-old journalism major with dreams of becoming a top investigative reporter.

She is a member of the secretive "Bibliophiles Society," is found dead under suspicious circumstances. The cause is an apparent overdose of prescription drugs. 

However, She is intrigued by the circumstances, Elena begins to investigate, discovering that the Bibliophiles Society reads and discusses classic literature with dark themes. Members are well-connected and influential, making her wary yet determined

As she interviews club members and faculty, Elena learns that the deceased was reading "Madame Bovary," moments before her death. She discovers a series of enigmatic quotes written in the margins of the club's meeting notes that eerily mirror the events surrounding each death.

 Elena uncovers that the club members have been referencing "Crime and Punishment" in their discussions, and strangely, another member dies in a way that mimics a key character's fate.

 With no choice, Elena befriends Jacob, a reclusive literature enthusiast who once applied to the society but was rejected. He shares his obsession with literary puzzles and offers to help her. 

They both deep-dive into the murder mystery that occurred in a mysterious literature club. 

As bodies begin to pile up, grilled by the local media and under pressure from the university, Elena feels the stakes rising. She faces intimidation from the club's members, who warn her to stop digging.

Through meticulous research, Elena discovers a pattern linking the deaths to famous literary works, each murder emulating a key theme or event. Her investigation leads her to "The Tell-Tale Heart," where another victim has been silenced in a shared location—the library's secluded reading room.

 Gathering evidence and preparing an article, Elena confronts the society's charismatic leader, Vincent, who reveals an unsettling truth: the club is a living tribute to great literature, and the murders were meant to push individuals on the brink—to create a legacy through death and art.

She was cornered in the library, Vincent unveils that she is the final muse, intending for her story to end in tragedy like the greats. Jacob intervenes, helping Elena to escape as they confront Vincent and sabotage his plan.

But, they could not escape after all.......
