[Faugrana Train Station, Past Midnight]

The night air bites against your skin, a stark contrast to the warmth of the house you’ve just left behind. You pull your jacket tighter, steeling yourself as you cross the dimly lit streets toward Faugrana train station, where shadows stretch long under the pale glow of the streetlight

The station is eerily quiet, its platforms deserted, and the hum of the fluorescent lights overhead fills the silence. You begin to circle the area, your footsteps echoing softly against the cracked pavement.

“There should be at least one trace of what brought me here,” you mutter, your own voice strangely comforting in the stillness. The reassurance grounds you as you scan for anything out of place—a sign, an odd marking, anything that could hint at the cause of this bizarre reality shift.

You pass along the tracks, noticing the faint glint of old, faded signs in a language that almost looks familiar but not quite. Small details that feel wrong tug at you, filling you with both curiosity and a sense of foreboding.

The stillness of the station is abruptly shattered by a prickling sensation at the back of your neck, like the heat of a flame against your skin. You freeze, instinctively holding your breath, every nerve on edge as you scan the station.

At first, nothing seems out of place. The night is as silent as ever, but the feeling lingers—watchful, probing. It’s as if someone, or something, has its eyes locked on you.

Then, out of the corner of your eye, you spot it: a faint glow from a nearby building. In a single apartment, lights spill out through the thin curtains. Just as you fixate on it, the shadow of a figure appears, moving with calm deliberation to draw the curtains shut, cutting off the light.

A chill runs down your spine. Who could be awake at this hour, watching you from a distance? And why?

The room goes dark, and for a moment, the building feels as lifeless as the station itself. The light was there for only an instant, yet it leaves a lingering unease in your chest. Were they watching you... or something else?

Sensing you might be overstaying your welcome, you run back into the girl squad's house

[The next morning]

Next thing you know, you wake up in Keiko's king-sized bed, sprawled and all alone

After washing your face and combing your hair to look more presentable, you take a deep breath and walk downstairs, still drowsy from sneaking out late at night

All girls except Fumie are sat having breakfast at the table, as for Fumie herself, she's sprawled on the couch as always, lazily eating toasts

Y/n: Good morning... – You greet them, still adapting to the unfamiliar situation

Lucy nods, Kimi raises one hand acknowledging your presence, Fumie hums while still munching and Keiko hits you with a "Wassup"

You take a seat on the empty chair by the table, thinking of what will you choose for breakfast

Keiko: How was your sleep, darling? – She smiles, her sharp teeth glinting in the morning sunshine seeping through the windows

Y/n: Pretty good for the first one in a parallel universe, yeah – You take a few bagels and put them on your plate

Keiko: Really? – She takes a mug and pours some coffee into it, sliding it to you from across the table – I'm guessing you usually shift a lot at night then, huh?
