Loki's Promise
I awake on a stormy night and looked around me Loki is no where to be seen. I get up pulling on my robe.
I walk into the living room he was there about to walk out the door.
"Loki....where are you going?" I say a nervous smile on my face.
"Honey i have to go back to Asguard for a while.." Tears fill my eyes "you you can't leave me I thought you loved me"
He quickly walked over to me and wiped my tears "i do love you so very much with all my heart but it's royal duties I I can't stay even if I wanted to which I do"
I cry "I'll never see you again"
He kisses me softly firmly "This is my Promise to you,I will return to you and we can be together forever".
And so, The days turned into weeks and the weeks turned into months eventually it turned into years and I had kept my promise of remaining faithful to Loki.
It was just after my 89th birthday I lay in my Bed I knew I hadn't many months left. I was dying.
Suddenly a flash of light and and standing in front of me was Loki He hadn't aged a day. He smiled at me and whispered "My dear I've come for you" I smile taking his hand and walking into the light with him by my side.
The light faded away and my body had shed its last breath but I was reunited with my True Love.
