Aliza wake up! Don't you have to go school today?

What time is it maa? Aliza asked her mother with her eyes closed.

It is 7 o'clock. Now get up.

Really? You are not lying na maa? She asked her mother while searching for her phone.

Yes. Get up now, wash your face and come for tea. Saying this her mother went to the kitchen.

She got up from the bed and looked at the time, it's now 6 o'clock. She knows her mother never tells the right time. She sighed and left to do her morning chores. After getting ready for school she came to have breakfast.

Aliza saw her father and sister Shifa having breakfast. She sat beside her, took two paratha on her plate and asked Shifa, Don't you have college today?

Yes, I have but I am not going today.

Why? Their father asked while eating his paratha.

I don't feel like going today, I am not feeling well either.

Okay rest well. Maa…….. I am leaving. Aliza yelled for her mother while putting the water bottle in her bag.

Wait, take this tiffin box with you.

Dadi whele ale papa ( where are papa)?

Baby papa has work in the hospital so papa is there. You know na papa is a great doctor
She tried to understand him while caressing his hair.

I klow dadi ( I know dadi). He said but his eyes are filled with tears.

Oh my brave boy. She takes him in her arms and secretly wipes her own tears.

Let's go and freshen up. After breakfast we will go to papa. Okay?

Okay……. He said with a big smile.

She takes him to the bathroom and freshens him up.

Azaan her 3.5 years old grandson who means the world to his son. They got azaan  when they were at their weakest time. Azaan came to their lives like a shining hope of a new beginning. She can't even imagine  what would happen to his son Abraham without Azaan.

Dadi I am leady ( ready) let's go. She saw her little grandson looking at her with his big doe eye, an exact replica of his mother.

We can't go like this azaan. We first need to have breakfast then we will go.

Let's go she takes him in her arms and comes to the dining area where the whole family sitting to have breakfast. Her elder  son Arsalan is serving food to himself and his father while her elder daughter in law Zeenat trying to feed her 5 -years- old son Zain.
