After leaving Ishita's house, we made our way back home, surrounded by a sense of joy and laughter that seemed to fill the air. The entire journey, my thoughts were consumed by my bird. I was overwhelmed with happiness, the kind that makes you want to shout out loud, to let the world know how you feel. For the first time in years, I felt truly alive with joy, as though a long-lost piece of me had finally returned.

Everyone was gathered in the hall, but I went straight to my mom's room, unable to hold back my excitement. My eyes sparkled with happiness, carrying all the joy I felt inside.

As I stepped into my mom's room, I saw her sitting comfortably on the bed. The moment she noticed me, her face lit up with a warm, genuine smile that reached her eyes, filling the room with a quiet joy. Her expression mirrored the happiness I felt, as if she, too, could sense the excitement radiating from me.

I took a seat in front of her, settling down with a smile.

"Hmm," she said, a knowing glint in her eye. "So, my daughter-in-law is good, and are you happy, Yuvraj?" my mom asked, her voice filled with warmth and curiosity.

Her question hung in the air, prompting a flood of emotions within me. I could see the hope reflected in her eyes, and it made me feel even more grateful for her support. I smiled, feeling a wave of contentment wash over me as I considered the significance of her words.

"Yes, Mom, I am truly happy," I replied, my heart brimming with emotion. "For the first time in years, I feel alive again. My peace has returned, and I can finally envision a joyful life alongside Ishita. Words can hardly express the depth of my happiness.

She is so innocent and fragile, so untainted by the cruelty of the world. It's as if we are two halves of a whole-she needs me as much as I need her. I can sense the loneliness she carries within her, and I know she craves love and protection. She deserves to feel safe and cherished, and I am determined to be that refuge for her, Mom."

Tears glistened in my mom's eyes as her face radiated pure joy, a reflection of the happiness swelling within her heart.

"Yuvraj, I can hardly express how happy I am," she said, her voice trembling with emotion. "At last, my son has found his happiness, and now you're ready to embrace this new chapter of your life. The thought of you getting married fills me with such pride and joy. It's a dream come true to see you so content, and I can only hope for all the love and joy that lies ahead for you and Ishita."

Her words enveloped me like a warm embrace, and in that moment, I felt an unbreakable bond between us, strengthened by our shared hopes for the future.

I felt an overwhelming sense of joy at seeing her like that.

"She is beautiful", mom said.
"But, you've not seen her yet". I inquired.

"The way your eyes shine while talking about her, it rarely happens with people".
