Cold winds of breezing air swept through..
Chilling against my face like clouds drifting through thin gravity.
Dusty air floated around..
Blending in with the dense atmosphere...
Pressing down on the ground and filling up the sky with a thick humid haze
It could almost be felt...
With one last touch
As it was..As if...
It felt as if it were pressing against glass with a gentle touch of a soft ball.
Once again, the air had grown thin and suffocating..
Shrinking in that single moment of time.
If things continued this way, it would be too late.
There wouldn't be a second chance.I stopped by a lake to catch my breath.
It was a reflection I needed for myself
A moment to find space and a time grip on my stress.
Some fresh air wouldn't hurt after all.
I was having a rough night and it wasn't easy to decide to head out in the first place.
As I walked along the path to a nearby town
It was a small village came into my view.
I could sense the life bustling a block away. Vendors were selling merchandise and food at their stalls were filling up the air with the tantalizing scents of cooking and fireFood was everywhere.
Potteries we're on display and people baked
Selling important goods.
Children chasing each other..
As they chased filled with their laughters echoing through the streets.
Across the town..I admired the open vibrant atmosphere
The scent of it was earthy and lively
A raw perfection that fills the air.
It was a delightful experience to explore..
Almost like a more thrilling version of grocery shopping..
Only far better than anything back home.
But beneath this lively market lay a harsher reality
A state marked by poverty and struggle. People were suffocating under the weight of limited means
Stretched thin from lacks of resources. This was a time of greed and self preservation
A time of stark beauty veiled by ancient traditions but clouded by hardships.
Money or the lack of it drove people over the edge
Pushing them into an endless grind
All to provide for their families and keep their children fed and safe.
The toll must have been relentless
A burden they carried year after year.Caught up in the wonder of it all...
I didn't notice right away, but then... something caught my eye.
Farther down the street, I spotted two children...
Their laughter carried on the breeze.
They looked like they were having fun, yet.. something about the scene felt tenseAs though.. there's was just trouble around the corner.
Was it something to do with the kids?
Or perhaps just a leftover piece of salmon in the market *forgotten....*
Spoiling in the heat, and waiting for the last desperate buyer.
It was hard to tell in this bustling scene..
Where small conflicts and quiet tensions seemed to blend seamlessly into days after days hum of survivalThere was always something just out of reach, A mystery woven into the very fabric series of Ancient Egypt.
Their mysteries and their lying undercover understandings of hidden dangers of the secrets
Lies beneath the depths
May we never... know about
