After the 49ers game, Brock couldn't get Y/N out of his mind. They'd only met briefly, but something about her had left him completely captivated. That night, he lay awake in bed, replaying their conversation and her smile over and over, the excitement of the game somehow overshadowed by thoughts of her.

The next day at practice, it was obvious he was a little distracted, and his teammates were quick to notice. Brock kept talking about Y/N, mentioning the little things that stood out to him — how she laughed, the way she looked when she talked about her favorite things, and even the simple way she said goodbye. His teammates started teasing him, but Brock didn't care. He knew they'd only met once, but somehow, it already felt like more than that. At practice the next morning, it became impossible to hide how distracted he was. He'd already run a route wrong and missed a couple of cues — unusual for him. Finally, one of his teammates nudged him with a smirk. "Alright, Brock. Who's got you daydreaming?"

At that, he couldn't help but grin, finally spilling a little about Y/N — the way she made him feel, how she felt so different from anyone else he'd met. It wasn't long before he was sharing every little detail he remembered, and even though his teammates rolled their eyes, they couldn't help but be a bit curious.

And as they teased him, Brock just laughed along. Because he knew that meeting Y/N had changed something, and he couldn't wait to see where it might go.
