"okay, you can rough her up a bit, but don't kill her. Don't break any bones " he thought for a little while before adding, " well maybe a finger or two. If you need anything or you are in danger press the button under the table, you will get backup. Do your thing, when you are done leave her in there, and wash your self I hate bloody clothes or shoes in my house." without giving me any time to say something he left.

I was a bit taken aback by what he had said, sometimes I forget how deep in illegal stuff he is, this is regular stuff for him.

After a couple deep breaths I went into the room to find Ro sitting on the chair that was in the middle of the room.

"okay" I sat at the desk my eyes scanning the room, viewing the different devices and the chair Ro was sitting in.

"that one is an electric shocker, that is for water boarding. I think you know what those are." Ro explained then pointed to the whips.

"shut up. You talk when you are asked a question." I said making her turn back around nodding, then sat silently waiting for me to say something.

"so care to explain, what you did today in the supermarket?" my attention was on the drawers under the table as I opened them to see what was inside.

" I went shopping" her response made me look up expecting more but she said nothing else.

" any more information?" I asked, sick and tired of her beating around the bush.

"I was at the supermarket then bought stuff that's it" again her response was avoiding the fact she was spying on me, being fed up with her dismissive response I got up.

"we will continue this later maybe later you will be more honest" I left the room locking it, just wanting to eat, thankfully Mia was cooking.

"so, how did it go?" Noah asked me, setting the table.

"terrible, I am not in the mood to deal with her later. "

"okay, but you talk to her after dinner, if we keep her for longer I will have problems with her family which might lead to a lot of trouble, so be mindful." he turned to Mia, "where is her phone?" Mia wordlessly gave him Ro's phone which she still had in her pocket. They both seemed tense around each other, clearly they were still fighting. The air felt thick and the silence loud but I still stayed helping them finish cooking.

We all got seated and started to eat mostly in silence, my thoughts kept going to Ro who was still in the room with no food.

"stop worrying about her she has been through worse, enjoy your food. You can bring her food later and talk to her then I want her out of my house." Noah said the last part of the sentence sound more serious reminding me that even though they seem cool Noah and Ro aren't friends or at least their families aren't.

"and while they are talking we will talk" he turned to Mia, who just nodded not giving a response.

While we were still eating we were interrupted by Ben who asked Noah to get the door because of the eagles.

"what eagles?" I asked as soon as Ben and Noah left the room leaving me with Mia.

"they call the police eagles for some reason. I don't know if I should follow him or not? the police has never showed up till now" Mia was already standing, eyeing the door.

"no don't go, you know he hates it when you involve yourself in stuff like this without being asked." I knew the reason they were arguing right now was because Mia wanted to be more involved in Noah's business but he wanted to keep her out of it.

"what are you specifically arguing about anyways? " I didn't really know what they were arguing about since our phone call was cut short.

"Noah has to handle business in Sweden and I want to go with him but he says that would be involving me even though I wouldn't know what kind of business, I would be in the hotel during his meetings and not involved at all, it would be like vacation for both of us since he doesn't have a lot to do there. It seems like he is keeping me hidden not just now but just in general like I know I can't go with him everywhere but it seems like he doesn't want me to be seen with him at all" Mia stopped talking as Noah came back into the room, some how seeming even more pissed and stressed.

"both of you sit down, we need to talk this through and I hate to say this but I am gonna need some help" Noah motioned us to sit down, both of us sat down a bit hesitant.

"okay, I am leaving with you tomorrow" he pointed to Mia before turning to me, "and could you stay here with Ro in this house till we are back."

I wasn't able to respond since I wasn't able to fully understand what he meant.

"look I told the police, you and Ro are here to house sit while we go to Sweden. I will talk to Ro to convince her to stay if you agree."

He paused a bit since I still said nothing he continued, "please, I don't want to explain a lot but they asked why you two are here and I had to come up with an excuse. Since the party they have been patrolling our houses a lot more to make sure people aren't meeting up for parties or other things. They probably won't come check up on you two but in case they do you would need to be here. If they show up you would just tell them that you are house sitting and don't answer any other questions they have, Ben will stay here with you he will also be available to talk to them in case they want to know more"

I nodded, "fine, if you can convince Ro to stay, but that will be hard. So if any one asks why we are here it is for house sitting?"

"Yes and don't worry about convincing Ro I got it, but maybe feed her first. I am gonna need you to be gentle with her okay? then I will talk to her. " he reached into his pocket to pull out a wallet and take out two cards laying them on the table, " here, use them while you are here, order what ever you want if you pass the limit just call or text me I will add money on it okay? "

Nodding I started to plate some food for Ro, hoping to make the talk as short as possible.
