We're underwater looking up at it. A saw cuts through, heading right for us. Above the icy water, a group of mountain men are saw through a frozen lake singing "Frozen Heart"
Ice Harvesters: Born of cold and winter air
And mountain rain combining
This icy force both foul and fair
Has a frozen heart worth mining
So cut through the heart, cold and clear
Strike for love and strike for fear
See the beauty, sharp and sheer
Split the ice apart
And break the frozen heart (a young Blaine and his reindeer calf, Sven, share a carrot and then try to join the men)
Hup! Ho!
Watch your step!
Let it go!
Hup! Ho!
Watch your step!
Let it go!
Beautiful! Powerful! Dangerous! Cold!
Ice has a magic, can't be controlled
Stronger than one, stronger than ten
Stronger than a hundred men! Ho! (young Blaine struggles to get a block of ice out of the, it slips, hits the water and soaks Blaine and then Sven licks his cheek) Born of cold and winter air
And mountain rain combining
This icy force both foul and fair (young Blaine finally manage to get one block of ice out of the water) Has a frozen heart worth mining
Cut through the heart, cold and clear
Strike for love and strike for fear
There's beauty and there's danger here
Split the ice apart
Beware the frozen heartThe men pile the ice onto a massive horse-drawn ice sled after which it's pulled away, Blaine and Sven push their ice block onto a little sled and start following the mountain men's sled.
Young Blaine: Come on, Sven!
We view the kingdom of Lima, Ohio. Inside in a bedroom, a young Kurt trying to wake his sister, Rachel.
Young Kurt: Rachel. Psst. Rachel! (Rachel doesn't wake so Kurt climbs onto the bed, sits on Rachel and bounces) Wake up. Wake up. Wake up.
Young Rachel: (with her eyes still closed) Kurt, go back to sleep.
Young Kurt: (Kurt rolls on his back and lies on top of Rachel.) I just can't. The sky's awake, so I'm awake, so we have to play.
Young Rachel: Go play by yourself.
Rachel shoves Kurt off the bed, Kurt not wanting to be defeated hops back on the bed and lifts one of Rachel's eyelids.
Young Kurt: Do you want to build a snowman? (This gets Rachel's attention and she smiles, then the two girls go downstairs to play) Come on, come on, come on, come on."
Rachel: Shh!
The siblings sneak into the ballroom and Rachel shuts the door, they start laughing.
Young Kurt: Do the magic! Do the magic!
Rachel starts waving her hands together and suddenly snowflakes appear forming a snowball
Young Kurt: Ooh.
Young Rachel: Ready?
Young Kurt: Yeah. (Rachel throws the snowball into the air and it bursts out creating flakes around the room) This is amazing!
Kurt runs around in excitement.
Young Rachel: Watch this! (Rachel stomps her foot and suddenly a layer of ice suddenly coats the floor, Kurt slides off, laughing, then Rachel and Kurt make build a snowman, after they finish building him Elsa moves his stick arms around.) Hi, I'm Olaf and I like warm hugs.
Kurt rushes over and hugs him.
Young Kurt: I love you, Olaf. (then using her power, Rachel helps Kurt and Olaf to slide across the dance floor as if they are dancing. They slide down snow hills together) Ah-huh! Tickle bumps!
Then Kurt jumps off the snow peaks.
Young Rachel: Hang on!
Young Kurt: Catch me!
Rachel makes another snowpeak to catch Kurt
Young Rachel: Gotcha!
Young Kurt: Again!
Rachel makes another peak to catch Kurt as he jumps.
Young Rachel: Wait! keeps jumping and Elsa quickly tries to make peaks to catch her] Slow down! (suddenly Rachel slips on the ice floor, as she sits up she sees Kurt about to jump again) Kurt! (Rachel quickly uses her power to catch Kurt as he jumps but it accidentally strikes hid head and Kurt falls down unconscious, Rachel rushes towards him and takes him into her arms) Kurt? (a streak of Kurt's chestnut hair where he was struck turns white, Rachel cries out in anguish] Mom! Dad! (as Rachel cries the room fills with more ice as she holds on to the unconscious Kurt) You're okay, Kurt. I got you.
Suddenly their parents, King Burt and Queen Carole, burst through the frozen door
Burt: Rachel, what have you done? This is getting out of hand!
They rush towards them.
Young Rachel: It was an accident. (looking down at Kurt in her arms.) I'm sorry, Kurt.
Burt and Carole take Kurt into their arms
Carole: He's ice cold.
Burt: I know where we have to go.
Burt goes through a shelf of books and finds an ancient book, he opens it and an old map falls to the floor from between the pages.
