As he wandered beneath the bleak and somber skies, a man soliloquized to himself. He convinced himself that any love bestowed upon him would only bring vexation, and thus he resolved not to love until he found someone who could compare his surpassing loveliness, as he didn't want to suffer any more heartbreak from his last relationship. Like how his brown curls matched his eyes. His light freckles on his contrasting pale skin. His perfect lips and face, as he put it. However, amidst his musings, a young man of similar age emerged from the glooms of the wet park walkway.

It was as if the rain stopped falling the moment their eyes met, and the wind, which had blown fiercely, seemed to calm in respect to their gaze. The man had black hair tied in a messy ponytail, with long bangs obscuring his face. A hood encapsulating his head from the droplets, and joggers hanging low on his hips, covered in a zipped sweater.

The former man looked up, flushing as if on contact with the latter male. He stood in shock as the person walked by and bumped into him. "S-sorry!" he stammered, quickly stepping out of the way. The hooded figure glanced back, flashed a subtle yet bright smirk, and walked away.       The fluffy-haired boy couldn't shake the thoughts of the man he had met in the rain. He was now sitting in his apartment, contemplating the possibility of seeing this mysterious stranger again. He sat on his bed, watching the rain fall like an endless barrage. "Dang it, I should have talked to him..." he muttered,a slight whine to his tone with his face flushing as he buried his head in a pillow.

The man with raven hair now sat at a pub, taking a few drinks before stepping out and walking back to his place under the little dribbles of raindrops still present, a smirk still plastered on his features as he remembered the flushed face of the fluffy-haired boy in his memory. "Tch..." he sneered and sauntered off.
