Into the Woods

     "Tiara! Come here at once!" yelled Tiara's stepmother.

     Tiara was whistling merrily as she played with her favorite doll. She did not hear her stepmother's first call ,in the second call she heard her stepmother and immediately ran to her or else she will be punished. Tiara's heartbeat quickened as she stepped her foot in front of the small cottage, where the notorious stepmother was waiting for Tiara.

     "WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG YOUNG LADY! GO FILL THIS BUCKET UP! AND CAN YOU PLEASE...STOP! WEARING THAT UGLY DRESS OF YOURS!' exclaimed Tiara's stepmother.

     "But Papa gave me this." the distraught girl (Tiara) replied.

     "SO WHAT?! QUICKLY FILL THAT BUCKET!" her stepmother thundered.

     It made Tiara boil and could feel an impulse of fury bounded in her pulses. She gritted her teeth and clenched her fist. Tiara wanted to talk back to her but her father once told her a story about Cinderella. So, she control her anger and was calm and put her doll on the ground. Before Tiara was about to take the bucket, an eagle came and took her beloved doll to the top of the mountain.

    "Oh no! It's the doll I only have, my only friend." She felt terribly remorseful about it.

    "It's all my fault!" she chided herself.

    Tiara look at the mountain and then down to the woods. The forest made Tiara spooked and was scared to go there. She then remembered:

     "If you go into the woods, you'll first see three dwarfs that won't allow you to cross the river and they are little bit smart. The second one is a gecko bigger than you, papa and me that won't allow you to cross another river. Fourth, when you cross the gecko's river you'll see a big, big, giant bigger than the mountains. Third, you'll see a giant smaller than the previous giant but bigger than the trees. Fourth, when you look up you will see the mushroom village. Fifth, a goat, a mountain goat that will not allow you to go up the mountain. Sixth, when you pass the goat, you'll see an eagle. Last but not the least a mountain's face." her stepmother told Tiara when she was four years old.

     Tiara loves the doll so much that she went into the woods without hesitations and not bringing any supplies or asking permission to her stepmother.

 She was in the woods.... Tiara turned pale with fright and her heart was pounding fast as she continued to walked. In a distance, she saw a river with a medium-size log on top........
