Izuku was sitting at his desk in his room messing with his web shooters. He was pulled out of his trance when he heard a knock at his door. Quickly he hid his web shooters in his desk before walking to his door. As soon as he opened it he found Izumi standing there.
Izuku: “can i help you”
Izumi: “the letters from UA arrived dad’s down stairs waiting for us to open them”
Izuku: “let's get this over with”
Izuku walks off out of his room and towards the stairs. Izumi paused for a second looking at Izuku with a look of sympathy before following him down stairs. They both walk into the Kitchen where Tosh sat at the desk waiting for them. Izuku and Izumi sit at the desk.
Toshi: “ready to find out if you both got into UA”
Izumi: “definitely”
Izuku didn’t respond, just half heartedly nodding his head. Toshi looked at him with a bot of concern before sliding two envelopes towards them Izumi’s envelope was thicker then Izuku’s
Toshi: “Who wants to go first?”
Izumi: “Izuku can im ok with waiting a little”
Izuku sighed before picking up the envelope. He opened it and pulled out a letter. There was a couple seconds of silence as Izuku read the letter. Once he finished he placed the letter and envelope on the table before looking back up towards Toshi and Izumi.
Izuku: “i got into the general study course”
Toshi sees the disappointment and regret on Izuku’s face and gives him a smile trying to make him feel better.
Toshi: “That's great you got into Ua”
Izuku: “yeah i guess so”
Toshi: (i wish you were still here Inko while i'm better at motivating a crowd…but you were always better at supporting them especially him…i could really use you right now)
Tosh slight clears his voice before looking at Izumi
Toshi: “What about you, Izumi?”
Izumi picked up her envelope before opening it. She reached into the envelope taking out a metal disk. As soon as she placed the disk on the table a hologram of bear, rat creature wearing a suit appeared out of the disk.
???: “hello young Yagi i am principle Nezu of UA im delighted to inform you have not only passed the written exam but the practical as well so it is my delight to inform you have been accepted into the hero course your uniform will be delivered to you you will be starting next week”
Once Nezu finished the hologram stopped.
Toshi: “this is great both of you are going to UA we should celebrate how about we have a movie night”
Izumi: “yeah that sounds fun what do you think Izuku”
Izuku: “you both have fun i'm not really feeling it tonight”
They both looked at him with a little concern as Izuku got up and walked upstairs to his room. As soon as he closed his door he pulled out his web shooters from his desk before continuing to work on them. As soon as he finished he got and changed into his suit he dropped his mask on his desk before turning the police radio on. He sat in his chair before putting his feet up on his desk waiting for the radio to go off.
After a while
Izuku was laying on the ceiling until the radio finally went off.
Radio: “all units a van is being robbed”
