The room fell into a stunned silence, the air thick with shock as Isabella's father stood in the doorway, his eyes wide and unblinking. "Well... this is certainly a surprise."

Alessandro's face turned crimson as he scrambled to cover himself and the girls more adequately. ' What are you doing?!" he stammered, his voice a mix of embarrassment and panic.

Isabella shot upright, her hands flying up in a defensive gesture, the blanket slipping from her shoulders. "Dad! You can't just barge in like that!"

Aria, still tangled in the sheets, could only manage a small squeak, her heart racing as she tried to find words. "Um... hi?"

Isabella's father blinked rapidly, processing the scene before him. "I—uh, I thought you all were just being too loud. I didn't mean to... to interrupt... whatever this is," he finally managed, his tone shifting from shock to awkwardness.

"Yeah, well, you did," Isabella snapped, pulling the blanket tighter around herself, her cheeks burning. "We were just having a private moment."

"Clearly," he replied, a slight chuckle escaping him despite the situation. "I'll just, uh, give you some space." He turned to leave, but then paused, looking back over his shoulder. "And perhaps consider keeping the volume down? Your mother and I are trying to enjoy the market."

With that, he retreated, leaving the door ajar. The three of them burst into laughter once he was out of sight, the tension in the room dissipating into the shared humor of the absurdity of the moment.

"Did that really just happen?" Aria exclaimed, her laughter bubbling uncontrollably.

"Your dad just caught us in the act!" Isabella added, still giggling, but her laughter turned into a playful pout. "Now I'm definitely not going to live this down."

Alessandro ran a hand through his hair, a mix of embarrassment and amusement written all over his face. "I can't believe this. ýour dad saw us—what if he tells your mom?" His expression shifted from playful to concerned.

"Honestly, I think it'll be fine," Aria said, her heart still racing but comforted by the humor of the situation. "They seemed more amused than upset." She shot them both a teasing smile. "Besides, this just means we have to be more careful next time."

Isabella raised an eyebrow, a wicked grin creeping onto her face. "Oh, I see. You want to keep the fun going, huh?"

"Well, yeah," Aria said, laughter still dancing in her voice. "Maybe we just need to plan our activities when everyone's out. No more impromptu wrestling matches."

"Right," Alessandro said, his tone playful again as he leaned back against the headboard. "Because that's what we need—more planning for our fun."

The three of them shared knowing looks, laughter fading into comfortable smiles. The atmosphere shifted once more as they exchanged glances that held promises of future adventures, all filled with playful teasing and unexpected moments.

Just then, Isabella's father poked his head back in the door, a smirk on his face. "You two can resume your fun as soon as you're decent! We'll be downstairs."

"Thanks for the heads-up, Dad," Isabella replied, rolling her eyes but unable to suppress her grin.

As he left again, Aria leaned into Alessandro, feeling the warmth of their connection. "Looks like we have some time to plan our next moves," she said softly, her heart light with laughter and love.

"Let's make it a good one," Isabella added, a spark of mischief in her eyes. "But maybe next time, let's not get caught."

And with that, they exchanged conspiratorial smiles, their bond deeper than before, ready to navigate whatever unexpected twists came next together.
