Bound by a Promise

Chapter 1

Heather's POV

"Matagal ka pa ba, babe? Sunduin na kaya kita?" halos mag thirty minutes ko nang katawag ang boyfriend kong si Dior. Based on the tone of his voice, alam kong naiinip na siya sa tagal kong mag-prepare para sa date naming dalawa.

"Chill, babe. I'm almost done,"

I'm very excited about this date because it's our first time eating outside. And we will have our date in the most famous restaurant here in London. Sanay kasi akong nilulutuhan ni Dior sa bahay, at iyon na ang nagsisilbing date namin. And I truly understand it, because I know sometimes ay wala rin siyang budget para i-date ako sa labas. Dior is an engineer here in London, pero minsan lang siya makatanggap ng client, and nagpapadala pa siya sa pamilya niya sa Pilipinas.

Nagulat talaga ako nang sabihin niyang id-date niya ako sa labas. At mas lalong hindi ko in-expect na sa pinaka-famous na lugar pa niya ako dadalhin. But then he told me that matagal na niya itong pinag-ipunan, and deserve ko raw ito bilang girlfriend niya. I declined at first because I thought na dapat ibigay na lang niya ito sa family niya, but he insisted.

Sometimes I couldn't help but to feel guilty for him. Feeling ko kasi nap-pressure siyang i-date ako sa mga magagarang restaurant or ipasyal ako sa iba't ibang lugar, dahil sa isa na akong rising star dito sa London at lumaki ako sa marangyang pamilya. Although hindi pa ako ganoon kasikat, but I believe that I'm almost there. Dumadami na ang mga fans ko. And I'm afraid that one day, this will be one of Dior's insecurities. Na baka mawalan na ako ng oras sa kanya.

"Baby, you done?" he asked once again. But this time it's more soft and calm.

I didn't answer immediately. I quickly put on my red lipstick and grabbed my bag. "Yes, my love. Wait for me." I answered and hung up the phone.

I feel so satisfied about my outfit tonight. I am wearing a wine red silk slip dress, paired with black high heels. Matagal na itong nasa akin, and I think this is the perfect time to wear it. I soft curled my hair and added a gold clip to add some accent. Hindi na ako nag-suot ng ibang jewelry maliban sa earrings, and I just wore my favorite watch.

Pababa na ako nang marinig ko ang busina sa labas ng bahay. I knew who it was. I almost tripped over the stairs dahil sa kamamadali kong bumaba. Mabuti na lang at agad akong nakahawak sa railings nito. As soon as I walked out the door I saw the most handsome boy I've ever met. Wearing his white long sleeve shirt paired with his black slacks. His blond hair is neatly combed upward, and it suits him really well.

He guided me into his car and opened the door for me. Like he always does. Nang maisara niya ang pinto ay agad siyang umikot at umupo sa driver's seat. Hindi niya agad inandar ang kanyang sasakyan, bagkus ay nilapitan niya ako at saka magiliw na hinalikan. I kissed him back. How I love kissing this man.

"You look beautiful, baby," he whispered in the middle of our kissing. I smiled and he continued kissing me.

We almost made out inside the car. He went back to his seat and started the engine. And we headed to Starlight Restaurant where we were going to have our first fancy date. Dior kept kissing my hand while his driving. When the traffic light goes red, he would sometimes pull me for a kiss.

He's been acting a little clingy lately. At hindi ako masyadong sanay doon. I'm not taking it negatively, I honestly think it's sweet. Hindi lang ako sanay. Dior is a very quiet man kaya nakakapanibago aang nga inaasta niya lately.

Thirty minutes later we finally arrived at our destination. Unang bumaba sa kotse si Dior at saka ako pinagbuksan ng pinto. I thanked him and he smiled.

"Wait here, baby. Ipa-park ko lang itong sasakyan." I nodded.

Pinasadahan ko ng tingin ang buong building. I can't help but say 'wow'. Napakaganda nito sa labas pa lang. Though it's not really the actual restaurant. Nasa tuktok ito ng building. Pero sa building pa lang ay kabog na. Nang dumating si Dior ay pumasok na kami sa loob. Dumiretso kami sa elevator at pinindot ang top floor.
