The Park

I had asked her if she wanted to go for a walk with me tomorrow, she agreed. I'm really glad she did, I feel like I was meant to meet her I want to know more about her. Her daughter is adorable too, Nala loved her which was lovely to see. I had asked to meet with her in the morning as I have training later that afternoon, she told me she didn't have work so it was fine. I asked her to meet me by this English cafe as it's close to my apartment and just by the entrance of the park.
What was lovely too is that I wasn't recognised for being "Alexia Putellas, La reina." I was just alexia, It was nice. I'm shocked she didn't know who I was, but I guess not everyone watches sports. Once I reached home, I checked my phone, I had realised I never gave her my number I mean I can't hand it out to anyone. I need to know she's not any trouble, I don't think she is but I have to be careful.
Mapi had messaged me.

Maria - te vi hoy con una mujer😉😉. ( saw you with a woman today)
Me - si, ¿espionaje? 😂 (Yes, spying?)

Honestly, today felt amazing considering I haven't been doing to goo all things considering however I really felt like I had an instant connection with Charlie. I just want to know her more, her daughter too she's so cute and I hope she loves that doll, I remember mi mama getting me one of those when i was little too. I popped my phone on charge, I took a shower and went to sleep.
This morning, I woke up ate breakfast did my morning workouts took a cool shower and put on the outfit of the day.

It was time to meet Charlie so I took a slow walk from my apartment complex to the cafe I told her to meet me near, I get a message again from Mapi

Maria - no, dios mío 😱. Are you getting back out there?
Me - 🙄 I don't know maybe, I'm meeting her again.

"Hola, alexia" Charlie spoke, I looked up from my phone and popped it in my pocket as stood up and hugged her. Her hugs are amazing, I wonder if she knows. I love hugs.

Charlie 
It was the day after and I had no work so I agreed to Alexia's offer of going on a walk, she was so lovely to my daughter yesterday. I'm struggling with extra money as I'm saving, but I had left the money for Olivia at home yesterday I felt so silly.
I left the apartment with Olivia she had her new colouring pens with her and her new doll, she was going to Marie for the Morning as I spoke to her that I was going to meet up with a friend. I open her apartment door as she gave me a spare key, "hola Marie, Liv's aquí y gracias" I spoke across the apartment. "Bye bug" I said downward to my daughter. "No es problema, diviértete" Marie winked at me, I may have told her my new friend was a woman and She knows that I'm bi and she hopes for me to find the right person. I gave her a smile as I closed the door.
I can't believe I said yes to this woman, I don't even know, but then again I want to get to know her. She seems so genuine and I haven't thought about getting to know someone like this in a long time. I have Sofia from work but she has her boyfriend and son, she hopes I find Someone too. Wait what if she doesn't think of me this way, what if she only wants to be friends. I mean I'm fine with that but I wonder, anyway there's no point overthinking I take myself out of my thoughts. I head to where she told me to meet her, we never exchanged numbers, I guess we were so in the moment from yesterday that we forgot. She told me to go to the park near an English cafe and ice cream shop, I usually come here after work with Liv so it's nice to know she lives nearby.
I spot her sitting on a bench outside the cafe, her outfit is very attractive, she is sat with her phone, she seems to be messaging someone, I wonder who. "Hola, Alexia, cómo estás" she stood up and hugged me as soon as she heard my voice. Our hugs feel electric, they just feel so right. Once we back out from our hug she smiles at me and I smile back. "I'm happy, very happy, I'm glad you said yes. It's nice seeing you again you look very pretty" she says in her very thick Spanish accent. I love her accent so much, it's perfect. I smiled at her from her comment I wasn't expecting her to say that " thank you and it's nice to see you too." We begin walking through the park talking about the weather and life, she told me about her job and how she visits other countries often like she was in Australia and New Zealand for a while last year. "How did you end up here in Barcelona?" She asked me. "Well, I was travelling, I was here for three weeks with a friend, but I fell in love with the city and the life here and I didn't leave. I met Sofia, my co worker and got a job and been here since. That was five years ago now. I spoke to her, she looked intrigued with my life. "I'm glad you like it here" she told me. "How's your daughter? She's so sweet, my dog really liked her." She smiled at me. She finds my daughter sweet, I mean Olivia is the sweetest four year old ever. "She's good, she's with Marie. She loved your dog too, she loves animals. She always wants to go to the zoo to see the big cats, as she says" I laugh as I talk about my daughter. She smiled too "that's lovely,I love the zoo too" Alexia said with happiness.
"Can I ask you a question?" I nodded to her at her question. "her dad, Donde esta?" I expected her to ask this question as everyone asks me this. "She has me, no dad." I look at her and answer her question. "I don't know who her dad is, I got real drunk at a party I went to, with my friend when we were first here. I had a one night stand with this guy and here she is." She just looked at me. "ay dios mío" most people have the same reaction but I look at her and I smile. "I think it's perfect, you don't need men" she sounded different. Does she mean like as in women are better, because of course they are. "Thank you. I agree" I say to her very mighty.
"Did you want to get an ice cream with me" I had just realised we had done a whole lap around the park. I said yes to her and we got an ice cream, she didn't want me to pay but i insisted I did, I won, I payed. What can I say I'm competitive.
"how's your work" I ask her, I wanted to know more about her. She looks at me like she's debating something. "I work in sport, it's a lovely job, it's something I've always loved doing." I wonder what she means by that, I've never been a sport person, my dad ruined that for me when I was young, he bullied me out of wanting to like a sport, that was meant for the boys. I never understood what he meant by that, so instead I focused on art, I loved drawing, it kept me busy. My apartment is filled with it. "That's great you enjoy your job" I smile at her. " I wish my job gave me as much joy yours seems to give you" she really looks so happy talking about her job I wish my job made me feel that way.

Alexia
We were talking about our jobs, I love the little restaurant she works at "that restaurant is cute" she smiles at me but not in the way that tells me she wants to work there. "Si it is cute, I have always wished I had my own cafe" her face brightened when she spoke, it was lovely to see. "I hope that you get your own cafe one day" I say to her. "Si, I have some savings but it's not enough" she spoke. I checked my phone and I realised 2 hours had passed by and I have training in an hour and Jenni wants to speak to me about something involving the documentary coming out. "Lo siento Charlie, but I have to go get to work" I said to her as we reached the bench we met at this morning. "Está bien Alexia, I need to get back to my daughter as Marie needs to see her son." She told me and I smiled because I love her English accent even though I still find it hard so understand some thing however I know she struggles so I want to be nice to her. "Can we meet up again soon?" She smiled she took her phone out of her pocket, "do you want to have my number?" I looked at her and took my own phone out and clicked on the add number. "Aquí" I pass her my phone. We exchange numbers. "I do really have to go now, but I can't wait to see you again Charlie?" I smile at her, she goes to give me a hug and I rap my arms around her, it feels so nice being in her arms, we let go. "It was lovely seeing you again too, you looked stunning today." She smiled at me.

Hiyaaaa, I have the next chapter almost ready to put out too.
I'm going quite slow with this story as I have a lot of ideas on future chapters, so I don't want to mess up the journey of the characters.
