(Salem in the year 1693. Sarah Sanderson passes by Thackery and Emily Binx’s bedroom window. Thackery wakes up and notices that his sister, Emily is not in bed.)

Thackery Binx: Emily? Emily!

Sarah (singing): Come, little children / I'll take thee away / Into a land

Thackery Binx: Emily!

Thackery Binx: Elijah! Elijah! Hast thee seen my sister Emily?

Elijah: Nay. But look. They conjure. (Points to the Sanderson cottage where purple smoke is emanating from the chimney)

Thackery Binx: Oh, God. The woods! Emily!

(Elijah and Thackery see an old woman lead Emily into the woods.)

Elijah: She's done for.

Thackery Binx: Not yet! You wake my father. Summon the others. Go! Emily!

(Thackery runs into the woods to follow his sister, till he trips and rolls down a hill, when he looks up he sees the witch and his sister going into the house)

Sarah: Come, child.

(Emily is in the chair. Thackery peeks in the window and Emily notices him; he ducks down and out of the way before the witches can see him)

Winnie: (opens the window) Oh, look. Another glorious morning. It makes me sick! Sisters!

Sarah: Yes, Winnie.

Mary: We're coming, Winnie. Right away. Sorry.

Winnie: Must've been an imp. My darling. My little book. We must continue with our spell now that our little guest of honor has arrived. Wake up. Wake up, darling. Yes.

(An eye on the spell book opens as Mary started to stir the witch pot)

Mary: I've noticed sister Sarah isn't helping.

Sarah: I lured the child here.

Winnie: Leave her be. She hath done her chore.

Mary: You're right, I'm wrong.

Winnie: All right. 'Tis time! There it is: " Bring to a full rolling bubble. Add two drops oil of boil.”

Mary: I got it. It's heavy. You do that, I'll do this.

[Outside, Thackery had climbed into the cottage and was now in the sisters’ bedroom)

Winnie: "Mix blood of owl with the herb that's red. Turn three times, pluck a hair from my head. Add a dash of pox and a dead man's toe." Dead man's toe, and make it a fleshy one.

Sarah(Dancing): Dead man's toe! Dead man's toe! Add a dead man's toe. Dead man's toe. Dead man's t- Dead, dead, dead, dead. Dead, dead, dead, dead D- Ooh!

Mary: Fresh one.

(Sarah and Mary then started throwing toes at each other)

Sarah: Dead man, dead man - Dead man's toe, add a-

(A toe is thrown and hits the back of Winnie’s neck)

Winnie: Will you two stop that! I need to concentrate!

Mary: Sorry, uh- She needs to concentrate.

(Thackery is watching from the sisters’ bedroom, and hiding from Mary who could smell him.)

Mary: I-I smell a child.

Winnie (pointing to Emily): Ehh, what dost thou call that?

Mary: A child.

Winnie: Sisters, gather 'round. One thing more, and all is done. Add a bit of thine own tongue.

(the sisters bite off a piece of their tongues and spit it into the cauldron)
