Narrator Pov:
War. War was all there ever was in the world of magic. Between every being possible against the shadow realm. Of course there was a selective brave group of adventurers who had defeated the realms king and their army along with friends and unlikely allies that had aided their heroic battle.
And now in the present time where they all rebuilt and had come to peaceful terms. A certain Orc was now on their way to see someone who's caught their eye on all of their adventures.
Y/N's Pov:
Finally it was done. I thought I would never see the day where beings from other realms or any beings in general working together. But to my surprise it really did happen. We were at peace.
No fighting, no killing. We're now helping each other."Y/N." I heard a voice call out to me. When I turned around I was shocked. My old master, the one who trained me into the very skilled Mage I was today, was alive.
He still looked the same. Old, gray hair, his wooden cane in hand, as well with the very same outfit he prided himself on many years ago when he told me about his days.
"Master Bo." I responded, bowing to him. "It is an honor to see you again."
"Ha. Don't start with that respectful nonsense now son. Raise your head up high like the man you are." He spoke, his voice was always a bit raspy and rough.
I smirked before leaning back up and staring down at him.
"Did you hit your head during the month of the war master?" I teased only to regret that later.
In a quick motion I was swept off my feet and fell on the floor back first.
"Ouch." Was all I could really say before getting back up. "Fair enough I deserved that."
"Of course you did. Trying to disrespect the elderly." Master Bo said while shaking his head at me. "It is impressive you haven't lost your head Y/N knowing your recklessness."
He started walking past me and I followed in pursuit.
"You remind me of my new students now. All are filled with potential. But lack knowledge just like you." He stated, walking at a steady pace.
I felt a bit offended by his words. But...it was true. When I was on adventures I wasn't the smartest one there. Nor the strongest by brute strength. But by magic and training, I was in a league of my own.
"Your words are like steel as always Master Bo." I remarked.
"Of course they are. Otherwise how would it go through that head of yours." He snickered.
"Now that the war is over. I was wondering...if it's possible for you to come back to the temple." He turned around facing me. "Course if it's not too much trouble."
"I...I don't know master." I sighed.
As much as I would love to go back, I wouldn't be feeling the way I do now. Free. I've always been the kind to spread their wings and let the wind take them. But that would mean for master Bo. And unjust.
"Y/N." I heard his voice snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Yes master Bo?"
"Just do what you wish, my boy." He said with a small smile. "You may be my student but if you wish to be out do so. You could always visit the temple whenever."
With that he started walking away before the wind blew. With that he had disappeared. And I stood there. Wind blowing through my hair and my scarf now also being blown.
