[2017 - 21 years old]
"Hao! Are you ready yet?! Our flights is in two hours!" Quan Rui shouted, standing by the door entrance as he waited (not so) patiently for Hao.
He heard some rustling noises from the other side of the house and soon enough, Hao walked out of his room, bringing a luggage, a little sling bag and a red panda plushie that Quan Rui bought for him for his twentieth birthday.
"What took you so long?" Quan Rui asked him, trying to come off as annoyed even though the two of them knew that Quan Rui will never get mad at Hao.
"Sorry, I was looking for my charger," Hao replied back to him using the sign language that the two of them had learned together. Quan Rui dramatically rolled his eyes making Hao laughed a bit before the two of them finally moved to the car.
Quan Rui had just graduated from high school and both his parents encouraged him to continue his study, and so he planned on bringing Hao with him to Korea, where the two of them had applied for the same university. Although Hao graduated high school three years ago, he was still undeniably smart.
(P/s: Quan Rui's parents knew about Hao's situation now, and is more than willing to help their little nephew.)
"Is this your first time going on a flight?" Quan Rui asked, looking over at Hao who was visibly nervous as they stood by the airport entrance.
"Duh." Hao replied sassily, trying to masked his nerves.
Quan Rui laughed at that. "Don't be scared. I'll be right next to you. Not to flex, but I've been on a lot of flights before." He said proudly.
"I don't care."

"How was it? Were you scared?" Quan Rui asked, walking alongside Hao who seemed a lot more calmer now than when he first got inside the plane.
"Nothing I couldn't handle." Quan Rui nodded, glad that Hao wasn't reacting badly like he did when he first rode an airplane when he was like 6 years old—he threw up and got sick for three days.
The two then moved towards the parking lot where Quan Rui's parent had already prepared a car for them. Quan Rui helped Hao putting his luggage as well as his in the car trunk and the two got in the car together.
Quan Rui's parents offered to buy any suitable place for them to live in but the two insisted that they wanted to stay at the dorm since it'll be much easier. So now, Quan Rui is driving the two of them to the university where they're gonna study at.
"I'm changing my name," Quan Rui suddenly stated, looking to the front as he focused on the road while Hao looked at him confusedly. "Why?" He waited until Quan Rui could glance at him to use the sign language.
"Wow, are you not gonna ask what I'm changing it to first? Okay, but like my parents gave me the new name. They said it'll be easier because my Chinese name is too hard to pronounced."
They stopped at a red light and Quan Rui turned to Hao to see his response.
"I see. What is it?"
"Glad you asked. Starting from today, I'm gonna be Shim Ricky," Ricky puffed his chest proudly, liking the name given by his parents.
"But we're in Korea? Why are you using an english name?" Hao asked curiously and Ricky got quiet. Now that he thought about it, Hao did have a point.
Seeing the quietness of Ricky made Hao laughed.
The car started moving again as Ricky drove using the GPS for directions.
