Taehyung: calling from his office “Hey, how’s everything at the baby care center?”

Y/n: “Busy, but the little ones keep me smiling. How’s the world of mafia and business?”

Taehyung: sighs “It’s chaotic. I wish I could be there with you. I hate being away.”

Y/n: “I know. But you’re doing this for us, right?”

Taehyung: “Always. But sometimes I feel torn. I want to be the CEO, but I also want to be there for you… and our future.”

Y/n: “You don’t have to carry it all alone. I’m here, and I’m proud of you.”

Taehyung: “It’s just hard. I want to keep you safe, but this life…”

Y/n: “I understand. Just promise me you’ll take care of yourself too.”

Taehyung: “I promise. I’ll make time for us soon. Just hang in there a little longer.”

Pov- Y/n finishing up her shift, talking to a co-worker “I hope Taehyung can make it back soon. It’s tough without him here.”

Co-worker: “He’s a busy guy. But he seems to really care about you.”

Y/n: “He does. Sometimes I just wish he could leave that world behind, you know?”

Meanwhile, at Taehyung’s office, he hangs up the phone, looking out the window.

Taehyung in his mind:“I can’t let her down. I need to protect her.”

Advisor: walking in “Boss, we’ve got a situation. A rival gang is moving in on our territory.”

Taehyung: clenching his fists “What? We can’t let that happen. I need to ensure she’s safe first.”

Back at the baby care center...

Y/n: on the phone again “Hey, I was just talking about you.”

Taehyung: “I heard. Are you okay? I don’t want you to worry.”

Y/n: “I’m fine, just busy with the kids. What about you? You sound tense.”

Taehyung: pausing “I’m handling some… issues at work. Just promise me you’ll stay safe.”

Y/n: “Of course. But you sound stressed. Is everything alright?”

Taehyung takes a deep breath, trying to stay calm.

Taehyung: “I’ll be fine. Just focus on the center. I’ll take care of everything else.”

Y/n: “Alright. Just remember, I’m here for you too. We’re a team, right?”

As she hangs up, a sudden noise catches her attention in the center, hinting that trouble may be near...
