"Hello Everyone, I hope you had a nice weekend, as I said last lesson, in this lesson, I'm going to explain what your project is about." My teacher told us. This teacher isn't really like all the other teachers I have. Although he is a bit strict, he likes to joke around as well.

He won't give you any extra homework except for projects and all. Even those projects aren't really that bad. We get to chose what to write it about, as long as it had even a little bit to do with the subject. He normally gives this subject that can be split into a lot of smaller subjects so we get to choose from a lot of things.

"So for this project you need to make pairs of two. You can write about anything you want, as long as it has to do with basic needs to live." He continued.

I looked around the room, to see if any of my friends would look at me too. It doesn't surprise me when no one looked at me. The problem is that for this school subject, we have an odd number of students. That means I have to work in a pair of three or I need to do it alone, because as far as I could see everyone already had someone to work with.

"Sir, we have an odd number of student, what am I supposed to do?" I asked, already knowing the answer. "Umm, I didn't think of that. You could work alone if you don't mind, or you could work with two others if they don't mind."

I looked around the classroom again, to see no one really looking excited of me joining them, so I decided to go alone. even though the feeling of feeling unwanted only grew, I knew that if I joined another group, I had to do the work for three.

"Also for this project, I would like if you all did an activity, it doesn't have to cost anything, I just want you to really get into the subject you choose and what better way than to experience it in some kind of way. So for the rest of this lesson, you can think about what you're going to do." The teacher said.

I decided to go with the subject survival. Being able to survive in the wild, isn't really that basic, because we live in city's and don't really go to the mountains, forest etcetera, but I asked my teacher and he said it is a good subject.

So for the rest of that lesson, I was planning on what to do for the activity. What better than to just do some survival class. I had found one where we would go with horses into the forest and we would sleep their for a day. I don't really have any experience with horses, but they said it wasn't needed.

It was going to cost me some money, but I would have probably done this once in my life if I had found a reason for doing it, so now I have an excuse to do it. It was also better to go with others for the first time, because you never know what could go wrong.

The place where I was going to do the survival class was only 3 kilometers away from one of the biggest forest on earth.

It was Wednesday today and this survival class was going to be on Saturday till Sunday, so it was on pretty short notice, but their was still a free place for me, it wasn't like I had anything planned and so I booked it.

"That's it for todays lesson, I want you all to finish this project in 4 weeks." My teacher said at the end of the lesson. The lesson was done way quicker than I thought, but that's probably because I was so focused on finding the things I had already read once about survival, that way I could refresh my memory about it.

After the lesson, I packed my backpack and got to the next, but I wasn't really focused on the lessons anymore, so this lesson felt way longer than it normally is.

When I got home, I decided to tell it to my parents during dinner, but just like always I was ignored. They did however sign the paper of saying that the organization isn't responsible if anything happened. They didn't say anything about it, which is a little weird because normally when they needed to sign something I would be questioned and all that, not that I minded not having any questions asked, it was just a little weird.

Planning something I really liked or think I would really like, is something that kept me going, it was something to look forward too and that why this Saturday couldn't arrive any sooner than it did.
