The day dragged on, almost a nightmare to begin with. Drew ignored me, and I ended up hanging out with Hannah Pot. She wasn't too bad, honestly. Anyway, the entire day was uneventful, and I'm quite alright with that. I don't understand why people hate Mondays, it's like any other day. MY brother and I always headed to an ice cream parlor every Monday, it was sort of our routine. I still go there, even though he's gone. I walk a few blocks down and headed for the ice cream parlor. I looked at the endless varieties of flavors displayed in front of me. I decided for mint chocolate chip. "Hey aren't you from Bolton?" I looked up to see River Rodriquez on the other side of the counter. I stared at him and nodded. "You all alone?" why is he talking to me? "Here's your mint choco chip, by the way." I handed him the money and he gave me the change, our hands brushed. I felt myself getting red. "Oi, I asked you a question," he laughed "you alone?" I nodded in response. "You don't talk much do you? I'm River, by the way." I looked at him "I know." He gave me a smile "Good then, you're, uhm?" Of course he doesn't know you. "Blair." His eyes showed a hint of recognition. "Yeah, yeah. I remember you now. Chemistry, right?" all I can do was nod. "You're a silent one," he laughed, again "anyway, see you." I smiled at him and walked outside. My ice cream was half melted already, sucks.
River talked to me, I can't wait to tell Drew. Wait, no, I can't. Drew and River aren't really on good terms, something about 5th grade. But I might just tell him anyway. River seems nice, I wonder what made them hate each other. It's time to head home.

I opened the door quietly, hoping to be unnoticed. "Hey Blair!" I jumped a bit in shock. It's Hannah, why is she here? "Your mom told me you come home a little bit later on Mondays, you're quite weird, you know that?" You're weird, why are you here anyway? I wanted to say that, but I'll just be nice. "Oh hey Hannah, why are you here?" She giggled and clapped her hands. "We're going to a party!" Nope. "I don't think so...." she pouted "Why not?" She knows I'm not exactly someone who goes to parties. "I don't want to go, Hannah. " She smiled at me "You have no choice, I already asked your mom, come on get dressed." Why did she let me go? She doesn't even know Hannah and she lets her in the house and even drag me off to a party where people are underage drinking and humping everything and everyone in sight.
I don't exactly have anything to wear for parties, I have one dress that's quite small for me but that's it. I invited Hannah over to my room, she raided my closet immediately. She held the dress a size too small and handed it over to me. "You're wearing this." She smiled at me widely. My eyes widened but she doesn't seem to get what I'm saying. "No." I shook my head but she just laughed. She pushed me inside the bathroom and giggled. "Come on, Blair. Just tonight." I sighed, she won't stop, I know it. I took off my jeans and my shirt and put the grey dress on. It was a little bit too tight in all the right places, but it was very comfortable, which surprised me. I looked at myself in the mirror and sighed. I looked weird in this dress and in my messy ponytail. I unlocked the door and let Hannah in. "You look so pretty! Let's work on your hair!" I sat down at the seat by the mirror and she took off my ponytail. She straightened my hair and put an innocent amount of makeup on me. "See, you're pretty. Thanks to me. Now let's go." I decided on wear my flats but she insisted I wear my mom's old heels. Of course Hannah won the argument. "My sister Hadley's gonna pick us up." She said while applying her lip gloss.
We waited until we heard the honk of the car. Hanna sat in the front seat while I was made to hang out in the back seat with Allen and Mikhaila.
They both smiled at me but they kept silent. I can't believe I let myself get dragged to a party. I don't drink nor grind up against sweaty boys, so I guess I'll probably lock myself up in the bathroom. "You're going to enjoy, Blair. I promise." Hannah said smiling at me. I doubt it. It was rather cold out. No idea why I didn't decide to bring my coat.
We stopped in front of a house with colorful lights and loud music blaring. Everyone scampered out of the car rather quickly, and here I am wanting to stay inside. I'm not really a party person. Or a social one. I've got my phone clutched in my hands. Why don't I have games on this phone? What am I supposed to do whilr I'm locked up in the bathroom later?
Hannah grabbed my wrists and dragged me inside. It was quite impossible because I'm wearing heels. I don't wear heels a lot so it was hard for me to walk around.
The music was intolerable, it was horrible. It was very loud and rap songs were playing over and over. Looks like somebody doesn't have a good music taste. "Blair, this is Ron. Ron, Blair. See ya!" Hanna left me. I gaped at her in shock. What should I do. "Hey." I looked over at Ron and he was giving me a small smile. "You have to understand that I don't really go to parties and socialize, I'm so sorry." I rambled. Where's the bathroom? "That's alright. You one of Hannah's friends?" He asked like it wasn't obvious. But come to think of it I'm not Hannah's friend. "I guess?" I said, staring at the ground like it's interesting. "Want a drink, Blair?" "Oh, no thank you. I don't drink." I exclaimed shaking my head. "Suit yourself." He said walking of. Finally. He turned back around "Want to come with me?" He asked nicely. "No thank you." I gave him a smile and headed off.
I started scanning the crowd in search of Hannah. I finally found her by the kegs. "Hannah, I want to go home." She laughed "We just arrived. Come on I'll introduce you to people." I shook my head furiously "No thanks." I looked over behind Hannah and saw Drew. What was he doing here? He doesn't go to parties. His eyes scanned the place and it landed on me. He started walking towards me and I started to panic. I walked away from Hannah in dire need to find the bathroom. But Drew caught up with me. "Blair, what are you doing here?" He asked "Hannah, what about you? As far as I can remember, you despise parties." I answered back quickly. "Rob and Benjie wanted to come. I'm sort of their driver, they plan to get drunk." I nodded. "Excuse me." I said turning around and walking towards the other direction. A small part of me wanted him to call me back. But he didn't.
I want to go home.
