A Bond Like No Other

Chapter 1

A girl was seen walking into her school campus. From faraway, she looked fine even happy but if someone looked a little closer, they could see it is just a facade. Yes, this girl is Sonakshi, Sonakshi Bose.

'Why did I come to school today? It's too tiring for me. Maa is too much sometimes. Can I go back home now? Guess not.' Sonakshi thought as she heard the assembly bell go off.

All the students started crowding the school grounds, getting ready for the assembly. The monitress of Class IXB, Drishti Desai, also a fellow friend of Sonakshi was urging the students to assemble into two lines, her fellow vice monitress Reeti Sinha, lend her a helping hand doing so.

By the time the assembly ended, all the students were drenched with sweat. The students wore their heavy bags and started climbing the stairs to their respective classes.

The entire classroom of IXB were filled with the huffs of the students.
Sonakshi sat on her seat by the window. The students began their class prayer.

After the prayer, Sonakshi could hear the whispers about the 'new student '? The teacher hadn't entered the class yet. Sonakshi thought to ask someone about it. She turned left and saw Resha acting cringe with Srita and quickly nodded no and called out to Drishti, asking her about the 'new student '. "You don't know? Arey there is a new student who is going to be in our class. We don't know her name though." saying so Drishti took her seat infront of her.
Sonakshi just shrugged and went back to doodling. Not before telling her about Resha loitering around the class and Srita again.

"Well again it's Resha we are talking about. When is she is not loitering around? Specially around Sirita." Sonakshi spoke among themselves.

"Agreed. Aye Resha stop that or I am complaining to Ms. Sonali again! I am so done with her." Drishti said defeatedly.

"Reeti, I handled her yesterday, it's your turn today." Drishti turned to her friend/vice-monitress.
"Yesterday was a holiday, stupid." Sonakshi and Reeti replied simultaneously.

"Oh hai! It was a holiday, whatever." Drishti said sheepishly.

After a while, their class teacher Ms. Sonali Roy entered the class and started taking the attendance.

"Class, there is a new student who is joining our class. I hope everyone helps her adjust to class as soon as possible and share the class notes with her as she is joining late by one month." Ms. Roy announced

"Everyone welcome the new student, Tiasha Sen."
