Edna looked down at Jay who was still dead. She wanted for Nya, Cole, and Lloyd to defeat the woman so Jay would wake up. She thought back to the day they first got him.

"Ed someone is at the door", Edna said as she opened the door. There was no one there, but she heard a faint cry.

On the doorstep there was a baby! He was crying as Edna picked him up. The baby stopped crying and fell asleep. There was a note watched to the blanket.

To who ever this may concern,

Please take care of my son, his name is Jaden Clifford Gordon. There is a woman after him she will stop at nothing to kill him. I will come back for him once his is 21.

Edna looked at Jaden and called "Ed you need to see this".

Ed came to the front door and asked "what is it deer".

Edna turned around with the baby in her arms and said "someone left this baby here".

Ed scratched his head and asked "now whose kid is this".

"The master of lightning's apparently", Edna said.

"We can't keep him, there is no way we can afford to keep him", Ed said as he grabbed to baby.

The baby woke up and looked at Ed. "What's his name", he asked

"Jaden", Edna said.

The Jaden reached for a wrench on Ed's belt. "I'm we can go to the orphanage in the morning", Edna said as she headed to the bedroom.

Ed took the wrench and held it up to Jaden. Jaden grabbed it and laughed. "Well looked like you like to invent little one", Ed said.

Back in the present Maya walked in the room with Ed. Ed sat down across from Edna and looked at Jay.

Ed recalled some memories of Jay growing up.

Jay was about thirteen and was working on some things with Ed. When that man who Jay met when he was four came up to them.

"Hello", Ed said.

The man looked up at them and replied "hello Jay I would like you to come with me".

Ed stepped in front of Jay and said "there is no way you are taking him anywhere".

Jay then waked up to the man and said "dad this is that guy who I met".

Ed lowers his guard and led the man in for lunch. As Edna was cooking the power went out and Edna asked "sweet hart can you turn the power back on".

Jay nodded and formed a ball of electricity in his hand as used it to turn on the generator.

Then man got state to talking when Edna and Jay sat down "I want to take Jaden to my monastery to be a ninja".

Ed looked at him and said "no he is not going to be a ninja. We don't even know who you are".

"Do you remember when you lost him nine years ago", the man asked.

Ed and Edna nodded. "Well I'm the one who brought him back to you" the man said.

The day Jay was moving out Ed gave him a hug and said "be sure to eat your vegetables".

"Mom", Jay rolls his eyes.

"Ed tell him to eat his vegetables", Edna demanded.

"Do as your mother says", Ed told Jay.

Jay nodded and then he went to become a ninja.

"It was so long ago", Ed said.

Edna and Maya looked up. "What do you mean", asked Maya.

"Since Jay left and came a ninja" Ed said.

Edna looked up as she was stroking Jay's hair. "I wish we never let him go maybe this would not  happened".

Maya spoke "Trixie would have done this anyway. It's no one's fault except for her's".
