My mornings usually starts with a cup coffee and a delicious breakfast prepared by my mom. Its always me and my parents having breakfast but today it seems like we have a visitor.
"Hey Matt! Get in." Matt is my PA.
"Come join us, Matt!" My mom said.
"It's fine Mrs. Khurana, I just need to tell Aanya something." He said declining my mom's offer.
We sat on the couch and he handed me the IPad.
"You got an offer to work in a bollywood movie. As you wanted to work in one of the hindi movies, we gave your audition to a bunch of great directors in India."
I looked down at the IPad to read the email sent by Rajesh Kapoor sir.
"The director is Rajesh Kapoor. Actually, the junior assistant forgot to report the team about the email. That's the reason we couldn't tell you about the email beforehand."
"What's the catch?" I asked
"The catch is that, we have to reply till tomorrow evening." And I whined to which he chuckled.
"You have the script, right?"
"Unfortunately no." I saw him with widened eyes and looking at my expressions he continued with slight hint of panic in his voice.
"But it's not a big deal. The director wants all the actors to have a script reading and he also wants to ensure that the cast he chose for the movie is suitable or not."
"Fine. I'll tell you about my decision till tomorrow morning."
When I told my parents about the movie offer they were on cloud nine. Like all the typical bollywood movies, my family always wanted to move back to India but we didn't have any other reason other than missing the country.
All my dad's and mom's family moved to America after my birth. So, it makes us question that even if we go to India were the hell will we stay! Not that I can't afford it now but we once were a middle class family.
Everyone knows how a middle class family is!!!!
My parents won't spend a penny of mine on something that makes them happy because they think that it's useless and waste of money. But nevertheless, I do whatever I want to do and at times make my parents use my money.
So, I decided to do the movie. I didn't know the whole story of the movie. I knew that the movie is romantic with a love triangle though.
