''Stop, wait.'', I pushed out the word- ''Sorry, it's just- we caught up with each other a few weeks ago and your already trying to kiss me.'', my head fell feeling bad. Instead of silence I heard him laughing. ''Lilly I wasn't going to kiss you, I have Brittney for that...I see you've been talking to Jillian huh?'' I was relieved he was cool with my sudden rejection. ''Oh...yeah I guess she crawled into my mind..'', I smiled a little.

Tonight wasn't about worrying about a kiss like I thought; tonight was going to be a fun one with my best friend Eyal. As the wind blew against my skin, everything that was bothering me flew away.Tripping on a beer bottle, Eyal caught me- ''Thanks.'' They were scattered around the front lawn. So- I wasn't surprised to see drunk people stumbling around. ''Hey man!'', some guy walked towards us. He was tall, brown hair brushed back, muted green eyes, wore skinny jeans, and a leather coat that had a pair of black RayBan's folded on the pocket, and he was holding a plastic cup.

''What's up Toby? How are you, I didn't know you were back in town, how's New York?'', Eyal hugged him a little, giving him that 'bro' handshake I could never do. It was soo confusing and I looked awkward doing it. ''I'm good I guess, New York- the city never sleeps...'', he smirked at the end. ''How's your famil-'', Eyal was cut off. ''Don't Eyal, you already know the answer. They don't give a care about me, so I took my motorcycle down here.'', he shrugged ending his sentence by drinking the rest of his drink. ''Well..this is Lilly!'', Eyal introduced me. His eyes moved to mine, I don't know why but I always hated 'eye contact' especially when they didn't quit staring at you. That was happening right now. ''Hey pretty eyes, how are you?'', he kissed my hand winking. What a flirt. ''Good - thanks.'' ''Come on guys there's a party inside!'', Toby's arms hanged onto Eyal's and my shoulder.

Walking through the front doo the music was much clearer. Everyone seemed soo carefree, dancing, making out against the wall with somebody they didn't even know. It was - different.

My very 1st party, I didn't know what to do at all. Maybe I should go out on the dance floor and let go, became a different person- but what if that were to become a bad thing? Following Eyal and Toby to the bar, they both grabbed a beer. Toby handed me one, but I set it back in the cooler. Walking behind the counter I found the water. ''Boring little girl, have a little fun, and drink this.'', some random girl with crazy highlights passed by me. I stood there for a second thinking about it...nah, I'll start off slow.

Eyal and Toby were still leaning against the wall staring at all of the girls dancing around ; figures. ''Water?'', Eyal smirked laughing underneath his breathe ''That's Lilly Matthews.'' ''Leave her alone, she's new to this.'', Toby bounced off the wall holding my arms as he moved me to the dance floor. Bodies touched against mine slightly, girls whipped their hair around, and all I could hear were the heavy beats of techno. Goosebumps rose along my arm as Toby glided his hand from my shoulder down to my hand. ''Dance with me.'', he threw his drink to the side. Within seconds, he had control over me. He was very strong, I found myself spinning around. My body stopped hitting against Toby's chest. My eyes narrowed - was he flirting?

''Come on Hazel I want you to relax, stop being soo tight and worried on the inside, and don't care.'', he circled around me, gently massaging my shoulders. I was stiff, my body relaxed a little, shoulders pushed back. I slid his hands off of my shoulders though. ''A hard one huh?'', he smiled widely as if he enjoyed the thought. His hands gathered in mine. Out and ins, turns, swirls, I was dizzy, but alive. My feet couldn't stop dancing with Toby's. I never felt this feeling, but I liked it allot. I could do this every night! But of course that wasn't going to happen.

''How do you feel?'', Toby moved me to his side. He was a good dancer, I caught up with my breathe- ''Amazing.'', I whispered into his ear. I hoped he didn't find me attractive, well that'd be nice, but no Lilly. Even though he was interested in my eyes...every time I turned to him, he was already staring at me. He was cute, beautiful was the right word, a sorta bad boy if you'd want to say. But with all of this dancing- I knew I was flirting back, by playing hard to get in the beginning, and now joining his hands on the dance floor. I didn't mean or want to flirt back though, it all just happened I guess.

My eyes wandered to Eyal. He smiled when he saw that I cared. He was sitting against the wall, drinking down another drink, along with some type of chocolate. I laughed, pulling my hair down, my head hanged back. I was in a different world.

I felt my head being tilted straight. Looking my eyes shut, Toby was kissing me. I couldn't lie, but I didn't regret kissing him back. The music faded, I heard nothing but our lips syncing deeper and deeper into each other. His lips tasted of a cool mint. Was that weird? I had random thoughts...I stopped him with a gentle peck.  I couldn't help but blush hard, he grinned letting go of my hand as I walked towards Eyal. ''Lilly?! Was that you?'', he stood on the ground. ''Yeah..I think it was...no it was her.'', I joked. I took a piece of the chocolate muffin he was holding, popping it into my mouth. ''Every single person here was basically staring at you two! I know we're just friends, but that was hot.'' I frowned suddenly becoming my own self again, and a bit sleepy'' I felt myself falling backwards. Everything went black.

''Wait- what did I eat?'', I leaned against the bed frame. ''Chocolate, but you know Hazel never ever eat anything from parties, because you've just been drugged.'', Toby sat on the edge of the bed. ''Toby, can you take me home?'', I felt sick, a big mess. ''Yeah, yeah, hold on let me get these...'', he walked over to the dresser.

Opening the jewelry box, he snatched a few rings, bracelets and necklace's. ''What are you doing?'' ''Stealing, duh.'', he locked the empty box. ''Why...I thought you were the good guy.'', I leaned my head on his shoulder. He laughed but then stopped looking into my eyes. ''You do that allot.'', I noticed. ''And what would that be Hazel?'' ''Staring at me.'' He sighed then smiled, walking towards the door. I followed him. Turning around to me, he held my hands. ''Lilly you're beautiful, I'm this washed up, low life 20 year old guy, and smart, prefect 17 year old girl.'', he sighed - ''There's nothing out there for me, I'm nothing in the world, I mean I don't matter....yeah I go to some nice Dancing and Acting Academy in New York, but everyone is currently looking around the country for me. Lilly make the best of this last year, because it will fly by, and you're going to miss it... now lets start by taking you home before you're grounded.'', his eyes became wet, holding back some tears. After he unlocked the door, I held his arm, turning him around.

Tears ran down his cheek, it was silent. ''Toby you deserve more, you're a special person, and I wouldn't want to be with anybody else in this moment. Tomorrow morning when I wake up and kinda remember tonight.'', we both laughed a little - ''I won't regret getting a little loose with you, kissing you on that dance floor, because this was probably one of the best night's of my life. You do matter in the world. Things will get better I promise you.'', I grasped him in my arms.

It was quiet, but nice. We both yawned as the cool breeze hit against us, giving us chills. I held his waist, holding on, having a fear of falling off.  I heard him smile. ''Here we are Hazel.'', he parked his motorcycle, locking my helmet on the backseat. I hugged him, he hugged me back. ''How long will you be calling me that?'', I mumbled into his shirt. ''Whenever I feel don't feel like it anymore.'', he responded. I smiled ''Goodnight Toby.'', I walked towards my front door. ''Goodnight.''

Turning around his eyes were locked onto me still. Waving I was inside of my house. I still didn't feel myself from the drugs, but I'd be alright. Walking up the stairs, my body ached from all of the dancing. Tonight I became a different person, and if I ever looked back a few years from today on this, I would never throw it away. I slept beside Jillian on the floor. How was I going to survive tomorrow?''
