The morning sunlight filtered softly into Kei's bedroom, illuminating the quiet space as she stirred. She felt a faint tickle against her cheek, and her eyes opened to see something small and warm nuzzled beside her under the blanket. She curiously lifted the blanket and found herself staring at a familiar tiny sliver and black-patched and striped kitten, its bright green eyes blinking up at her.
Eyes widened in surprise. 'That kitten no well. I'm positive I left this little fellow with Kenji in Kurokiri.' Kei thought gazing at the small kitten curled up against her face.
The kitten gazed up at her, its emerald eyes glinting playfully in the morning light as it stretched its tiny paws toward her, emitting a soft, affectionate "meow." before nuzzling against Kei's cheek.
"Morning to you too, but why are you here? Didn't I leave you with Kenji?" Kei questioned, gently stroking behind the kitten, making it purr happily. Did you follow me, little one? Well, I guess there's nothing I can do about that."
'It looks like I ended up with a pet kitten. How did this kitten get inside of my house? ' Kei thought as she moved the kitten away from her face.
"Alright, why don't we eat breakfast? Hopefully, I have something for you to eat," Kei said, stretching her arms as she sat up in bed." After that, we visit Akira and Kaito," she said, picking up the kitten and heading downstairs to eat breakfast.
After getting out of bed, Kei scooped the kitten into her arms and headed downstairs, her mind still curious about how this kitten had found her. She knew it couldn't have snuck in her clothes without her knowing, but it followed her without knowing while she was lost in thought about the mission.
As soon as she reached the kitchen, she rummaged through the fridge and found some fresh salmon. She grabbed it, placed it onto a small plate, and set it down for the kitten, who eagerly looked at it as soon as it was placed down and soon took a tentative bite.
"Looks like you're enjoying it," Kei said with a smile, watching as the kitten happily devoured the fish."I guess I will have to figure out a name for you if you stay with me," Kei stated glancing at the kitten wondering what would be a good name.
While she thought of a possible name for her new pet, Kei prepared her breakfast. She brewed a cup of green tea, the fresh scent filling the kitchen as she grabbed two pieces of bread and topped them with scrambled. Egg sandwiches were one of her favorites to eat in the morning. She quietly sat at the table as she enjoyed her breakfast.
After her breakfast, Kei cleaned up and headed upstairs to shower and get ready for the day. She gently smiled at the kitten as it followed her upstairs.

As soon as she was fully dressed she walked towards the door as she slipped on her sandals as, the kitten trotted over to her, gazing up with a slight tilt of its head."Don't worry, little fellow. I'll be back soon. I'm going to check on my teammates Akia and Kaito and then I will be back to buy you some supplies to care for you and a collar," She said giving a scratch under the kitten's chin.
