"Mom, I'm going for a walk." I called out to my Mom before I opened the door and walked out.

To be honest, I'm still not used with the LA surrounding. My family and i originally came from Minnesota. But since dad died 2 months ago, Mom thought about moving on and transferring to a new place. The typical.

I went to the beach nearest to our house, the Santa Monica beach. I walked down the shore, letting the water wet my feet and feeling the sea breeze blow my hair.

I love summer. Nothing's better than being able to feel that summer air and the warmth of the summer sun on my skin. Staying up until 4 am or not waking up to an alarm at 6:30 in the morning, not even worrying yourself about homeworks and projects.

I sat down on the sand admiring the water. I also took a couple of photos to post on Instagram and Twitter. After a while of sitting down, i felt the urge to walk again along the shore.

I didnt realize I had been walking and exploring for a long time now till i saw the sky turn pink and purple. Oh how time flies. I took one last long look at the beach, took a lovely photo of the sunset and head home.

"How was the walk on the beach?" Mom asked as i walked in the kitchen.

"It felt great." I said as I took a piece of home made cookies mom made earlier. Mom's home-made cookies are my favorite. Nothing beats the classic.

"I'm gonna head upstairs and take a quick bath before we eat dinner." I said to her as I exited the kitchen and ran up to my room.

I turned on my tunes, waited for the shower to warm up, got in, and got lost in my thoughts. One thing you should know about me is i love taking long showers and baths. I do alot of thinking when I take a shower or a bath. And i cannot take a bath without music. There has to be music playing while i take them. It feels quiet and empty when i dont play music when i bathe.

After what seemed like a half hour in the shower, i dried myself up and went downstairs to help my mom set up the table.

At dinner, i told my mom and my sister about what I saw in Santa Monica beach. I told her they were setting up for what seemed like a carnival or something. Im not entirely sure about that but there was a ferris wheel and other rides.

"We should go visit Sta. Monica beach during night." I suggested.

"That sounds nice. We sure will." My mom said with a smile on her face. That was one of the most real smiles i have ever seen on my mom's face since dad died. I'm glad she's starting to feel lighter and happier.

After helping Jessica with the table, I went to my get my phone to post the pics I got from today on Instagram. I also want to catch up with my Twitter friends. Well, I did tell them i would talk to them at night and I do keep my word.

No doubt, my Twitter friends are crazy. Yes, we are fangirls. We're just like most of the teenagers out there. And we talk non-stop about things like the boyband we're "obsessing" over or simply what happened to us on that day. In time, I would love to meet them personally.

When I checked the time, it was already 1:45 in the morning. Well, you cant really blame me. Its summer and i have a lot of catching up to do with my virtual friends. So I bid them good night and tucked myself to bed.

This has been a fast day.
