I scroll through my phone boredly. We haven't had a mission in a while and everything is calm but we're all itching for something to happen. Some kind of excitement or drama. That's why we're all sitting around in the lounge room/kitchen area, all on our phones or lazily snacking or both, except Chase who mindlessly fiddles with some invention at the coffee table.
Cat video, people from school posting pics of whatever, food hacks, random celebrity gossip, oh look someone had a baby, more food hacks, an announcement for a new comic. 'Read it.' I sigh bored out of my mind.
Suddenly a photo of Bree and Adam pops up. It's attached to a link titled, The Davenport Prince and Princess out on a family get-together. 'Huh! Wasn't Chase there too?'
I click on it out of curiosity and read.
'Adam and Bree Davenport, the oldest two Davenport children, who are definitely not children anymore if you know what I mean, were seen looking amazing over the weekend when they went out for a family hangout day with their next oldest siblings Chase and stepbrother Leo around Centium City park.
Missing from the group are their father Donald, stepmother Tasha and baby half-sister Naomi. Who presumably were back home in Mission Creek.
Despite being Bionic heroes these two are always looking like America's next top models. Whether their looks are caused by their bionics or genetics is unknown but I think it's safe to say we all don't mind. If our country is to be saved by anyone it should be two of the most attractive people around.
Along with their good looks, their fashions are always on point, this weekend included. From Bree's cute t-shirt sweater to Adam's extra tight polo, it makes us wonder if they knew they were going to be photographed or if they're always this fashionable.
Overall, it seemed like they had a good time with their siblings as a bright smile accessorised their looks, only adding to the amazing photos that were taken of them.
What do you think of their amazing spring looks? Let us know in the discussion area down below.'
I scoff at the article. 'How could they write so much on Adam and Bree and not even give Chase more than a brief mention? He even had dressed up more that day. I mean he looked amazing.'
I zoom in on one of the photos where Chase is standing in the background chatting with Leo, his smile softly shining. He looks so genuinely gorgeous and purely himself in this photo. His arms crossed in amusement as his muscles poke out from his button-up plaid t-shirt, jeans resting comfortably on his hips. His hair had been messed up slightly, I'm guessing from the wind but he didn't seem to mind and it looked pretty good.
I scroll to the comments. 'Ugh, they look so good!' 'Are we sure they're not actually gods?' 'How can they be so pretty?' I roll my eyes and scoff again.
"What's up, Kaz?" Oliver asks looking up from his phone.
I jump at the sudden noise and look up. Everyone's stopped what they were doing and looked at me. I blush. "Oh uh... It's an article about the other day when you" I gesture to Bree and Chase. "Went to the park with Adam and Leo."
"Ok and? Why are you so upset?" Bree asks.
"Well because they are talking about you and Adam and how good-looking you are but barely mention Chase." I shrug before quickly adding. "Or Leo. I mean all four of you were there but no, only two of you can be praised? That doesn't seem fair." I blush at my almost slip-up.
"Let me look." Chase says leaning over the table and grabbing my phone out of my hand. He scrolls up to the top. "The Davenport Prince and Princess? What does that make me? The royal jester?" He says upset.
