Asher:
Sitting outside with my best friend and his crushes coffee order and waiting for them is werid. But I gotta do what I gotta do when he spams me messages and tells me everything about the girl in the masjid (mosque) . Everything was fine until I saw her. Jannat Aabirah. Goddamn was she pretty. She approached me.
"Salan?"
(Vegetable curry)
Oh how much I hated and loved the nickname. My name is Asher Arsalan. But I loved it when she called me salan. It felt unreal. I looked into her gorgeous eyes.
"Ji?"
(Yeah?)
"Suna tumne? Aaqib, wo bhi pyaar main!"
(Did you hear? Aaqib. He's in love!)
"Haan. Suna. Bas us aur uske crush ke liye ruka hoon."
(Yeah. I hear. Just waiting for him and his crush)
"Mind if I sit?" She asked
I didn't answer, instead I just pulled a seat for her to sit down, she just looked at me and sat down. And just then, Aaqib and his crush were here.
"Asher" he said and we had a handshake, I looked at his crush standing behind him as jannat approaches her
"Assalamualaikum. I'm Jannat Aabirah." Jannat said.
(Peace be upon you)
"Walaikumassalam, I'm Zahrah Malik."
(Peace be upon you too)
Zahrah Malik... His crushes name is zahrah malik...
Aaqib elbowed zahrah softly
"Ye Asher. Mera best friend"
(This is Asher. My best friend)
She nodded at me and said
"Assalamualaikum. Zahrah Malik."
I gave her my hand for a handshake and felt Aaqib's gaze on me, I ignored that and she shook my hand
"Walaikumassalam. Asher Arsalan."
"More like Asher Salan" Jannat. Again.
Zahrah chuckled, I ignored jannat and gave everyone their coffee and we sat on the grass. Looking at the stars, and I noticed just one thing.
Aaqib was looking at Zahrah the whole time. A sky full of stars and he still stared at her.
But yeah. I couldn't get my eyes off Jannat's smile while zahrah and her were talking and looking at the sky full of stars. Gosh. Me and Aaqib were smitten.
I elbowed Aaqib and whispered to him.
"I feel you man."
He whispered back
"I know man. Her eyes, I can't tell you how I feel..."
In a good moment of silence he replied
"The voice of her eyes are deeper then all roses, it's like if she'll put a gun on my head. I'll still be lost in her eyes."
Silence hit hard again.
