Chapter 2

"NO!" Sophie screamed, the whole elvlin world could hear her. Keefe was unconscious because of her! No it was all her fault. He told her not to trust the enemy. Pain shot through her, she didn't quite know it if was something that happened in reality, or if it was just her broken emotions. Either way it hurt.

"Sophie calm down!" The voice was distant, and she couldn't really tell who it was. It felt like it was familiar, but then again it might have been. It felt like she was under water, drowning in all of the negative emotions, that were just too strong. They were pulling her under. but then she felt this one emotion that was different, it was warm not cold like the others. But it was so small and weak, it didn't really make a difference, but it still comforted her. Reminded her of what it felt like when she and Keefe kissed in the grove. Sophie wanted to keep that emotion, it was the one thing keeping her afloat.

She closed her eyes, using all her mental strength to keep it but it was useless.

When she opened her eyes again she was in a beautiful forest. It had all kinds of different animals and trees, some green, some purple, there was so much light. Kinda bling actually, it was like having a flashlight 3 inches from your eyes (not me grabbing a flashlight and a ruler to test this) Like it was painful, but it was better . . . better then drowning in sadness and pain. So she wasn't complaining.

Though this world had animals and trees it still felt like she was alone and worthless. She wished she had a friend, or Keefe for that matter, she wasn't quite sure if they were dating they hadn't talked about it much, but Keefe did love to tease her about the kiss. She wished she had Keefe with her right then, to tease her, to make her less sad or less hurt, Keefe always had a way of doing that. She loved him for that, but . . . she also loved his hair, Ugh she would never hear the end of it, if he heard that (say it with me! THE HAIR! THE HAIR!).

 now that Sophie was thinking about were she was, how was she supposed to get out? wait! better question, where was she?! 

Sophie then tried to move but a sharp pain filled her leg. "OW!" she cried, the sounds ricocheted off the trees, and eventually came right back slapping Sophie with her own sound. she screamed in pain, just then the same thing happened. Why was this beautiful world so painful, all she wished for was some peace were she could rom the forest and pet the animals.

The thought was cut off by a warm Blue Breeze, swirling around her. It picked her up of her feet carrying her up into the sky. They were so high, she could see the whole forest plus a little field of wildflowers.

"Your safe" a voice whispered in her ear, it sounded Keefe. oh she was so happy to hear keefes voice fill her head she was finally at peace. She let the breeze take her back to reality.

Then her eyes where closed. she slowly opened them, to see her favorite Shade of ice blue eyes staring into her brown ones.
